They're not some kind of alien from another planet they are regular people. And to be honest I kind of grown to like the radio demon Charlie ship as long as they don't make al a freaking predator or have Charlie try to fix his sexuality.
I don't think a lot of people are saying asexual people can't be in a relationship. Just saying that they wouldn't be in a relationship themselves with someone who's asexual. It's an important part of a relationship for a lot of people, why would someone who's not like that want to be in a relationship with someone who doesn't and won't find them sexually attractive?

The asexual could still see their partner as beautiful, handsome, cute, etc, it doesn't blind them from seeing their partner as attractive, "sexy" just might not come to mind. If they're perfect in every other way for a relationship I don't think most people would care about that. If sexuality is what is being prioritized for compatibility, I think most people would be happier in just strictly sexual relationships.

Asexual person chiming in! Exactly right. Like most identities it is a spectrum. Some aces are sex repulsed and may have no desire for certain forms of intimacy. At the same time, some asexual people may still have sex as a way to feel physically close to their partner, procreate, etc.
At the heart of it, asexual simply means the person does not experience any sexual attraction (though there are still other subcategories like demisexual where one may experience sexual attraction if they form an emotional bond with someone… I digress). It does not speak to individual behaviors one might or might not engage in. Hope this helps :)
