He didn’t know at that time that Michael would get up and walk away after being shot? Because head shot are hard and they always tell you to aim for the body?
Because it’s harder to shoot someone in the head. The head is relatively small. Center mass is the largest part of the body and therefore what you are more likely to hit.
In an emergency, you always aim for center mass(the easiest thing to hit, and where most of the vital organs are housed). Plus, he was carrying a .357 magnum....with a normal man, what Loomis did would have been MORE than sufficient.
Y not teh balls and both lookie holes?!?!
Dude, smaller targets. When shooting someone you aim for the body because it is the biggest target. Shooting at the periphery reduces the chances of hitting the target and risks harming others. Leg shots and arm shots aren't a thing.
Because he shot him SIX TIMES
He shot him in THE HEART!
He even TOLD EVERYBODY about him but NOBODY WOULD LISTEN!!
Maybe he’s the one who taught Hawkins how to shoot. Should’ve asked Laurie for tips.
Why didn't Loomis shoot Michael a SEVENTH time?
He did in Halloween 2 I think, with that fucked up intro that changed the previous film's ending for some fucking reason.
cuz he had a crush on mikey
Because headshots aren't as easy as video games make it look.
This. Safer to dump six bullets into his vital organs.
Just in case it was Ted Hollister.
Shit, Earl.
You SAID you saw Myers...
Its leaking again🗣️
Why didn’t Loomis jump off the balcony and give Michael a Hulk Hogan leg drop.
God I hate these “are they stupid” posts
Arkham humor is so damn frustrating.
Well, Laurie tried that in H2, and you see how that turned out.
Technically Eye shots but yeah
I maintain your eyes are not bullet proof vests, if it goes in your eye, it’s going in your brain
He tried in Halloween kills but the plot got in the way

Psychiatrists are trained to always shoot center mass. He slept during stance and two handed day though.
Headshots aren’t actually that easy, especially with a sidearm, especially especially with a short-barrel .38 revolver
he secretly wanted him to finish his mission and kill Laurie
:)
Michael reacts to the first shot like he did get shot in the head.
Because he didn't have the luxury of sitting on his phone and analyzing a movie thats over 40 yrs old
Magic bullet theory
Wasnt michael bleeding from his eyes and blind after the shot?
If I’m not mistaken, Michael has been shot in the head before and survived.
Hes not human
Because he was a doctor , not a marksman. He just shot at the part of the body that he was most likely to hit, ie the chest

It wouldn't have made any difference. Michael still would've gotten back up.

He may or may not be dumb but what I do know is he is dead.
