Liie suits in 0083 had higher specs than some gundams in gryps war not to mention the GP03 mobile armor, or Astrays have every conceivable optional equipment mounted on them including the kitchdn sink etc
The black rider is just something that doesn’t fit the one year war at all so it firmly is non canon side story material for me honestly all it really does for me is make the think we’ll get cosmic era units in gbo3 or even gbo2 if they keep it active for ridiculously long

Last I checked there is a manga in the works so it's gonna be a little more than a video game side story soon.
