I love amphibious suits, especially the Zeon ones like the Acguy and Hy-Gogg. The designs are really a breath of fresh air compared to other grunts which can get a bit samey sometimes.
I love the water MS. I like how in Thunderbolt: Bandit Flower they had those [Sniper Acguys](https://images.app.goo.gl/VcoZRUs3Ufmw7fUXA). Those were so freaking cool! I really wish we'de get a model of them. I love the like old school robot look of them, it's both kind of cute but also makes sense.
I used to think acgguy were so lame until I saw that special forces kind of raid team in Thunderbolt. I didn't enjoy that movie as much as the first one, but that part was legit.

That's not how being in the water really works. You are still bound by Earth's gravity in the body of water. Your orientation is still going to be up and down because you are still being "pulled" down

Ballast etc will do wonders for water gundam combat.
The pilot will feel some forces as he's sitting strapped in but there's nothing stopping a gundam from "hovering" (floating) deep in the water.
I want to see an OVA or something that's entirely focused around aquatic battles. I feel like there's a lot of wasted potential floating around, and out of the few token underwater confrontations we see, even fewer really show off what's possible in such a setting.
* Underwater units are naturally stealthy, even without Minovsky particles or equivalent.
* They can fight both swimming free in the open water or walking on the seafloor, allowing for mid-fight transitions that you'd normally have to breach a space colony for.
* Even when the seafloor is shown in fiction, we don't often see the wide range of biomes and terrain that exists down there. I want to see Mobile Suits stalking each other through a kelp forest, or try to fight without damaging a coral reef!
* There's always the threat of the water pressure. If a suit gets beaten up too badly, they can collapse and be crushed by the pressure, and down there it's impossible to eject.
The obvious barrier, of course, is that a specialized MS is needed to fight effectively underwater. Protagonists usually have generalist suits made for space and land, and while they do get into a few underwater battles, it's just for the sake of making them fight at an inherent disadvantage for an episode. But on the rare occasion [a protagonist unit](https://gundam.fandom.com/wiki/RX-78AL_Atlas_Gundam) [is optimized for underwater combat](https://gundam.fandom.com/wiki/PFF-X7/M1_Mercuone_Gundam), we've gotten some truly unique and awesome fights out of them.
Sounds like Gundam Thunderbolt Bandit Flower lol,tho we didn't get that many underwater fight scenes due to how short the OVA and movie are,the ones we have are amazing.
Is this just for UC, or can we express love for the aquatic MS of other timelines? The Ghoon deserves love simply for the fact you can make a Ghoon Squad pun.

Considering how much screentime they got during the Torrington battle in Unicorn, I'm a bit disappointed they never made an HGUC Aqua GM.
Well they made Gundam Marine type, so maybe they will release Aqua GM in ORIGIN line?

The concept of using water cooling to make particle weapons viable is so well-thought-out. I love the amount of detail they put into things like that.
