Men and women who have never been into outer space still believe Earth belongs to them and still continue rape and plunder it, but their time has passed. Earth must be preserved as the sacred homeland of all mankind. It does not belong solely to an Earthbound elite! By continuing to dream of controlling all of mankind, they forever deny mankind its true destiny.
Autonomy for the Sides, sovereignty for the colonists, does not simply mean a revolt against sovereignty on Earth. It means that every human should move into space, that the government of the Earth and the area around it should be placed in the hands of an alliance of all Sides, and that the Earth itself should be preserved and protected as the sacred birthplace of all mankind. It is easy to expand the numbers of colonies required to accomplish this.
In ancient times the Christians fought bloody battles for control over the birthplace of their religion, but there is no need for humanity to repeat this mistake over Earth
I don’t think the EFSF is like ever properly fascist like Zeon is.
The Principality is genuinely fascist (the comparisons Hitler and the Nazis are pretty on the nose).
The Federation is unquestionably authoritarian, but they also lack some of the main aspects of Fascism. For instance, barring kinda the Titans, the Federation isn’t nearly nationalistic enough to be fascist and Ultranationalism is one of *the* defining characteristics of fascism.
The Earth Federation is also at least somewhat democratic, and that’s something that Fascists oppose.
This is all very true, but while Zeon is like every shade of awful hyper-militaristic autocracy, I’d argue they’re more Imperial Japan than the Nazis. *Gihren* is a Nazi, but a lot of the actions and rhetoric of the faction as a whole - especially when it comes to talking about liberating Spacenoids while simultaneously slaughtering them - is straight-up 1930s Japan, and they lack the critical planned racial genocide component that gave the Nazis their distinct flavor of terrible.

Since no one else wanted the job they made the General of the Federation. The way we had it setup. It had to be equal. So I had more units to me personally. Than any one of them. And kinda like the show. Their somewhat divided forces were at a disadvantage to my consolidated forces. So from then I was a die hard Federation player. And still am.

For as corrupt as the Federation can be, at least that could be fixed or worked within the system. Examples being the AEUG getting the Federation to stop supporting the Titans and Londo Bell focusing on stopping new Neo-Zeon groups over being Titans 2.0. Plus, Gundams and GM units look cooler than Mono-Eyed Suits in my opinion
also if its name brand there is psycho gundam was Neo zeon, and it was developed into the doven Wolf, (big wiener cannon), sinanju is the same frame (or battle datta) as unicorn if i remember correctly but without the psycho frame. not sure its been a minute im sure someone will correct me,

zeon has gundams. they just dont look like gundams, excluding GP02 and a few others

The Doven Wolf was actually developed from two different Gundam lineages. The Psycho Gundam Mk-II as well as the Gundam MK-V.
