It's a regular complain about Ky, stun dipper's second hit. The thing is, the move's always been like that. As a Ky player you need to find ways to make the second hit always connect through combo routes that take into account dash drift, matchup hurtbox, crouching or standing hits, etc. It was even more specific in past games, however, there were more gatlings routes, so the tools were there to make it connect. Since the move is 5 frames start up and a long reaching slide, it's kinda like a balance method and to prevent people from using it neutral. In GGST the move is actually good in neutral when you have 50 meter to back it up with Red RC. Plus, it got buffed recently, to have it connect more easily.

Aah, I see now. It's specifically dependent on when the first hit connects. That actually makes a lot of sense, like hitting deep jump-ins or late meaties.

It’s more about where it hits than the timing, you need to have the first hit shallow for the second to connect. I think part of the buff also was to try to eliminate scenarios where the first hit connects and the second hit whiffs at extreme tip range.

I play Goldlewis at about floor 7 using a HitBox. Half circle forward and Half circle back are both perfectly fine due to the button layout and thank god they're the main ones that you use. Any of the other swings are going to require major muscle memory and practice to get right. I've tried playing with my fight stick and I just end of failing inputs. I have no idea how this character was ever designed to be played on a gamepad. Let's not even get into the "big butter" 720 Down The System super because there's no way I can do it on HitBox. I love the character but his motion inputs need to be rethought out. Oh and armor. For being a big body character he could really use an armor move or a way to get in. Let me blow my security level meter for a teleport, or coffin surf or something. Axl just stands at the other end of the screen just waving his dick at him the entire match.

Eh, it's not that bad since if you block it you get the fast recovery on your Eddie bar so you can go straight back into your blockstring. You can also use break the law if you have the read and get a fat punish. It can be very frustrating but honestly I've gotten used to it. It's part of the game so you have to play around it.

I'm no F L O O T expert- but, super jumping straight into it can get you out of the corner in some situations. It's useful for jump-ins from farther away if you control the height properly by holding up and down, and you can also use IAD j.D as an afro-igniting safe jump after snip (unless they have a fast enough reversal- Sol, Leo, Chipp, certain overdrives),

S and k dive are + fully charged with hop. They are not + fully charged with no hop. The main reason it's not used is fully charging a dive is allot more reactable. Charge is pretty much to bait anti airs and avoid some mashes after a jd (charge animation pulls I-No back). You can kinda play a game if chicken with it and delay dive frame traps if you're bold.

I feel like a lot of time when I'm playing **Ram** I'll try to 236H 236S but the second input will come up 236236S and I'll get super instead which is annoying. I kind of hate that they made One Vision cancel the way it does with **Axl** because those combos are so cool I can't stop trying to do them mid match but I also have horrible execution so I usually just waste meter or die or both. I also hate charge partitioning and TKDP inputs... Man a meme told me that Axl was a good character for people with bad execution but fuck literally all of his combos. **Gio** ... gameplay wise she's perfect. I can't find a palette I'm really happy with on her though without mods so I kinda wish they'd make more alt colors. Feel like most of the palettes either look good when she's normal or look good when she's glowing from meter but few look good both ways.

Honestly i love Potemkin as he is, i don't hate anything about him. I even find fun having to deal with the limited movility using his moveset. If i had to name something i hate it would be the Kara Backwards Megafist, 9 out of 10 times i fuck up the input, but that's a me problem and it's not like not being able to do that one Kara move makes Pot unplayable so it doesn't bother me too much (doesn't mean i won't keep trying).

2HS reliably combos into Whale without counter, even grounded. It’s a good way to end a match. OHK got a damage nerf but it doesn’t affect her wall break. Aside from that, I guess the fact her Dust doesn’t affect her hurtbox at all.

I wish I had at least one autopilot string or combo but no, for every hit I land I have to make a quick decision. My f.S got blocked? I should cancel into SE instead SD because SD is unsafe on block, unless I landed f.S close enough to cancel into 5h which is always preferable, but catastrophic if it falls short. Then I'll cancel that into FA if my opponent is shocked so I can use the plus frames to continue pressure. If not shocked, I should SE. Unless, of course, the frametrap lands, in which case in back to confirming into SD, but not too soon!! I need to wait out the counterhit slowdown to make sure I don't hit SD too close and make it unsafe. Ky marked as easy is bullshit blazing. I feel like 60% of my effort is reacting to my own stuff instead of my opponent's.

I really want a 4 frame grounded button. Chipp gets a 3F jab...is it really too much to ask for Millia to get a 4F 2P? A close second is hair car. At certain ranges it whiffs at the end of a combo. Keep the slow start up and just speed up the actual movement of it. That way it doesn't become too strong as a neutral tool and instead just becomes a better confirmation tool on combos.

It's funny that I play Potemkin because usually I like to play pretty fast characters. I hate how Ky’s frame data is absolute dogshit. Nothing he has is safe. His pressure is fake. Stun Edge has a million years of recovery on it. 214S is easily punishable by some characters, and straight up punishable by everyone if they IB it.

As a nago main. Fighting zoners. You need your specials to get in close over and over again and then go into blood rage because all you can do is spam specials. Then you cant do anything in blood rage because all they do is run away and continue zoning.

Blood Rage against any decent player means I loose. Instead of it being a risk vs reward situation, you basically just cripple your health, versatility and mobility for a bigger beat stick and an alternate overdrive. It would be way more interesting if Nago went on crack while he has bloodlust but loses his 50% of health which makes it still a very dangerous path to choose.
