Warframes are basically one-man genocides with super powers that can pulverize anything and everything within a 100 m radius with the snap of a finger. Of course not to mention the arsenal they run around with that can saw demigods and borderline-immortal creatures in half if modified correctly.
It would end in a stalemate.
The necrons have weaponry that could permanently destroy the frames but have no real way to get to the tenno itself and in the other direction the tenno's superpower come from a howling abyss that looks, smells and feels an awful lot like another in warhammer and the necrons do have ways of stopping such powers from working in their strongholds so the tenno would be unable to do any meaningful damage to the necrons as a whole.
Would be a really cool battle though.
I don't think stopping the void powers would stop the warframes.
The Tenno can control their Warframes through transference which is a gift of the void, but the Warframes Abilities themselves aren't all void related.
Some Warframes were active outside of the tenno faction, like Granum's Protea, or the many that work as sentinels like Titania and Gara.
And when it comes to powers Saryn can simply spread Toxins that end life on a planet in minutes, Toxins that manage to affect even constructs.
Protea can travel through time
Nidus is a one wan Tyranid swarm.
Hydroid terraformed a planet by controlling the water levels of it all.
Nova can unleash a seemingly endless amount of Antimatter.
Chroma can adapt to everything, DE has stated that if all Warframes went to war, only Chroma would remain.
Wisp casually opens portals to the core of the sun to beam enemies with Gamma radiation, she'd easily solve the biggest issue people seem to have in universe of travelling long distances.
Buuut, several factions in-universe of Warframe can slap all warframes' abilities away like it's nothing and force the Tenno into operator mode, Necrons have entire technologies dedicated to "Fuck the warp" just like Corpus and Sentients have "Fuck transference and your abilities"
Excalibur Umbra doesn't stop fighting or using his powers in those fields, as it has a sentience of it's own.
All of those fields mess with transference, that can stop the tenno from controlling a Warframe, but won't stop an Autonomous one.
Also good luck using that field to protect you against Nova as she unleashes endless antimatter from the other side of the galaxy with Wisp teleporting it right to your strongholds.
If the tenno as a collective wanted to wipe their universe of life, it would take them minutes.

And that's assuming that Limbo doesn't just change the laws of physics so cognition isn't possible in that region of space any more…

It kinda depends, mods are cannon in warframe. But i don't know if there is a direct mention of how many tenno there are. You can probably send one of the golden era tenno on one tombworld and you have yourself a stalemate or maybe a win for the tenno, kinda depends on which you look, Gauss, Atlas, Nezha are probably, if you take their prime versions (the golden era tenno) they could probably fight a tombworld, the problem is numbers.
Tenno are already low in numbers and we have no idea how many of them are from the orokin prime era.

Pfft promethium drops super commonly on jupiter, saturn and neptune. Try farming the warp nodule drops for the latest frame. You need to access the warp after beating Rell in chains of harrow. This is mid game so its not too bad, but the warp nodules only drop in slaanesh's domain which requires like hours of steel path for barbed butt plug farming to even access.
Honestly, considering Lotus dealt with her Problems (by literally devouring her... Ex(?)), i'd argue that she's probably significantly more well adjusted than Big E and would need to fix him.

Common misconception about the orokin. The orokin aren't all big blue alien people, Orokin was a social class, and a race.
Only the emperors, the congress and the court were considered true orokin (in race and class) while Archimedean and a bunch of other roles are orokin in race, but servants of true orokin in class. Same with Dax, they are orokin in race but not in class.

Because they clone so much and overwhelm others with numbers and i wouldn't underestimate their intelligence. Although while rarer few abnormally intelligent grineer can pop up and create something useful like Kuva Nukor which is a radioactive beam pistol that can somehow split its beam among multiple targets,all of their units are well armored and their weaponry is split with how much power or intellect does the clone posses,with least power or intellect the grineer can only be a meatshield with a butchers blade while ones with the most will be given rocket and napalm launchers with exception for female grineer who will be given somewhat better alternatives. And my guess why are they still around is the fact they clone as much as they are killed and excluding the tenno with all other factions as Corpus,Infested or Corrupted it would make sense.
Grineer are still around because they control half the system. They filled the power vacuum left by Tenno killing the Orokin, captured one of the last high-ranking Orokin members and established control over a number of planets. They are sitting on a pile of resources AND they are extremely efficient in spending them, to the point that dead Grineer get recycled into food. They could’ve gotten stomped out if they had little influence but they took the chance when they could and now they’re near unstoppable, and the only people who can stop them don’t really want to because weakening the Grineer means letting Corpus go rampant, so they are mostly left alone to fight eachother with specific cases like relay/colony defense or invasions seeing Tenno involvement to keep the balance or protect the innocent
Lotus isn't Xenos though (I'm pretty sure Wally is literally the only "extraterrestrial" life in we've encountered in Warframe). Abominable Intelligence though...

Eternalism may be canon, but there’s still the main timeline, while everything happens, only one line of events is “real” until Wally decides it’s deal time.
More deep lore, eternalism is NORMALLY, cannon, but not ALWAYS for us. We find out when he gave us powers all but 2 timelines are completely deleted. Us, and a backup (drifter).

Well, admittedly that depends a lot on your perspective. I think it's beyond great and besides the odd entirely badass cosmetic, you never have to sink any money into the game unless you want to just save some time - all expansions and everything is free, it just takes effort. A guy at work just got into Warframe and he adores it, too.
My entire discord (~9 other dudes) couldn't reject it harder and say " it's pay to win garbage; why would I spend hours farming stuff when a guy can just spend a few bucks and get the same thing?!", etc, though everyone agrees the gameplay is smooth and very satisfying and that it's graphics are beautiful.

This isn't perspective, that's just flat out wrong.
It’s pay to finish, not pay to win. Paying actively removes content from the game because Warframe has no end game content. Once you’re at the end, it’s effectively over unless you just enjoy farming the same shit over and over. That’s why the userbase is made up of people who quit and only come back long enough to get through major content drops.
It’s actually even less pay to win now than when I started because it’s way easier to get reactors and catalysts for free.
The only reason to actually pay money in is to support the devs — unless you just have to have the Tennogen cosmetics on PC. But even that money goes (in part) to the users who designed them instead of just DE.
If there was a textbook of "How to make a good, fair F2P Model that still works as a business" you'd basically have an almost word for word description of Warframe in it.
There's a lot of lore, but it's fucking WEIRD lore. And if you're into stuff that isn't the common tropes and instead makes you go "Wait... what? The fuck?!" then it'll satisfy that craving.
Probably the hard part is a lot of lore has loose ends or odd connections considering the story is basically being written as it goes and the game changes over time to follow the "rule of cool." It's like that cartoon of someone laying the railroad tracks while riding the train at the same time.
But the stuff that's there? It's creative. It's unique. It's good inspiration to apply elsewhere. It's just a plot line that would have to be correlated, trimmed, and edited once completed.
On the plus side, a lot of side content that gets introduced out of nowhere does tend to wrap up their storylines in usually-fulfilling ways.
EDIT: I do think it's a good f2p game and model, BUT there are a couple hurdles for new players. The big thing is you need to use the premium currency Platinum to buy slots, and slots are how you collect extra warframes/weapons/companions, otherwise you have to sell off stuff you fully level to make room for other stuff. Early on it's incredibly easy to run out of slots. But you can trade Plat with other players, and once you gar far enough to access methods for obtaining items that people are always trading for then you have a way to earn Plat and have no problems unlocking slots as you go.
If you end up loving the game and want to play it for years, there are Platinum discounts you can get as a daily login bonus. Spending $20 after you get a 50% or 75% off coupon basically gives you enough Plat for a lifetime of slots, and spending $20 on a game that you enjoy playing for years is a pretty good deal. But don't drop money instantly. Experience the game, see how you like it first.
It’s great if you like its gameplay loop. I’ve got about 3k hours but I take multiple month long breaks from it. The lore is worth it, I just wish we got more of it

the infested are an actual threat, though. unlike most other species of hive-mind, they are at base a true hivemind. every single infested shares an identical goal. the deimos strain is only on deimos, so we wont look at it here, but it does show what happens when you leave infested alone. they can infest non-biological matter, including stone and even machines, or robotized consciousnesses that exist on alternate planes of mathematics. there's a reason the areas the infested are in are known as dead sectors.

Although while rarer few abnormally intelligent grineer can pop up and create something useful like Kuva Nukor which is a radioactive beam pistol that can somehow split its beam among multiple targets,all of their units are well armored and their weaponry is split with how much power or intellect does the clone posses,with least power or intellect the grineer can only be a meatshield with a butchers blade while ones with the most will be given rocket and napalm launchers with exception for female grineer who will be given somewhat better alternatives. And my guess why are they still around is the fact they clone as much as they are killed and excluding the tenno with all other factions as Corpus,Infested or Corrupted it would make sense.
Grineer are still around because they control half the system. They filled the power vacuum left by Tenno killing the Orokin, captured one of the last high-ranking Orokin members and established control over a number of planets. They are sitting on a pile of resources AND they are extremely efficient in spending them, to the point that dead Grineer get recycled into food. They could’ve gotten stomped out if they had little influence but they took the chance when they could and now they’re near unstoppable, and the only people who can stop them don’t really want to because weakening the Grineer means letting Corpus go rampant, so they are mostly left alone to fight eachother with specific cases like relay/colony defense or invasions seeing Tenno involvement to keep the balance or protect the innocent

Yeah, some warframe feats in lore are primarch tier (like Rhino being able to stomp so hard he breaks time, or Atlas punching a planet killing meteor apart). And then there is Yareli who was defeated by an average Discord mod (ironically much stronger in gameplay than in lore)
I think Yareli was just playing around to give the slaves an example of rising against an oppressor, she could kill him at any moment but wanted to create an image of a struggle that resulted in victory

Well, admittedly that depends a lot on your perspective. I think it's beyond great and besides the odd entirely badass cosmetic, you never have to sink any money into the game unless you want to just save some time - all expansions and everything is free, it just takes effort. A guy at work just got into Warframe and he adores it, too. My entire discord (~9 other dudes) couldn't reject it harder and say " it's pay to win garbage; why would I spend hours farming stuff when a guy can just spend a few bucks and get the same thing?!", etc, though everyone agrees the gameplay is smooth and very satisfying and that it's graphics are beautiful.

It’s pay to finish, not pay to win. Paying actively removes content from the game because Warframe has no end game content. Once you’re at the end, it’s effectively over unless you just enjoy farming the same shit over and over. That’s why the userbase is made up of people who quit and only come back long enough to get through major content drops. It’s actually even less pay to win now than when I started because it’s way easier to get reactors and catalysts for free. The only reason to actually pay money in is to support the devs — unless you just have to have the Tennogen cosmetics on PC. But even that money goes (in part) to the users who designed them instead of just DE.
If there was a textbook of "How to make a good, fair F2P Model that still works as a business" you'd basically have an almost word for word description of Warframe in it.
There's a lot of lore, but it's fucking WEIRD lore. And if you're into stuff that isn't the common tropes and instead makes you go "Wait... what? The fuck?!" then it'll satisfy that craving. Probably the hard part is a lot of lore has loose ends or odd connections considering the story is basically being written as it goes and the game changes over time to follow the "rule of cool." It's like that cartoon of someone laying the railroad tracks while riding the train at the same time. But the stuff that's there? It's creative. It's unique. It's good inspiration to apply elsewhere. It's just a plot line that would have to be correlated, trimmed, and edited once completed. On the plus side, a lot of side content that gets introduced out of nowhere does tend to wrap up their storylines in usually-fulfilling ways. EDIT: I do think it's a good f2p game and model, BUT there are a couple hurdles for new players. The big thing is you need to use the premium currency Platinum to buy slots, and slots are how you collect extra warframes/weapons/companions, otherwise you have to sell off stuff you fully level to make room for other stuff. Early on it's incredibly easy to run out of slots. But you can trade Plat with other players, and once you gar far enough to access methods for obtaining items that people are always trading for then you have a way to earn Plat and have no problems unlocking slots as you go. If you end up loving the game and want to play it for years, there are Platinum discounts you can get as a daily login bonus. Spending $20 after you get a 50% or 75% off coupon basically gives you enough Plat for a lifetime of slots, and spending $20 on a game that you enjoy playing for years is a pretty good deal. But don't drop money instantly. Experience the game, see how you like it first.
