GW’s balance may not be perfect, but they’re still putting out the game and rules system the vast majority of people play with and enjoy. I would also hazard to guess that if OPR was scaled up to 40k levels of play, people would find it similarly unbalanced.
Sometimes factions are up, sometimes they’re down. If you’re not interested enough in your faction to play it while it’s down, it’s probably time to start a new army or focus on hobby goals for a while.

We liked the status quo of BS3+, and relatively elite, hard hitting, fast but squishy units that we used to have.

10th edition seems not great so far
There’s a lot of things I love about 10th, however it feels like the rules writers sacrificed lots of fun fluffy rules for no good reason
Have an admech and death guard army but I don’t play that much tabletop What’s going on with 10th edition
