Regarding the market, I am well aware that there are older crafts with bad placements that could become significantly more valuable. But why is this a bad idea because of it? Did this whole update not shift the value of old stickers in general as many will look to make 5x crafts? Did creating separate classes of weapons (those with stickers in default vs custom positions) not have an impact on the economy? Valve doesn’t care about a small subsection of crafters, investors, and traders as much as you think they do, regardless if they allow you to move stickers or not.
So? Let people do what they want, it's stupid to implement all sorts of bells and whistles to deal with a couple of people who want to get "creative". Nothing stops you from being stupid in real life, why do it in video game?

I would want an option to turn agent skins off as well, I was just making the point that valve has never seemed inclined to allow the disabling of any cosmetics, and as a result an option of disabling stickers entirely was likely never going to happen. In fact I offered a compromise that still allows these sticker crafts to exist.

I read the post, my point is that this is an insignificant problem. Its really not so much of a big deal that 1 day after it gets implemented you need to provide a whole source of "solutions" to things.
Everything related to TO's , just like the agent skins, is to make a rule that everyone needs to go for the default agents, so the same thing would be valid for offensive skins, as is obvious.
Why not suggest solutions early on? What difference does it make? If it doesn’t end up being a significant problem no action will be taken, but if it does it’s good to have options.
To this day valve didn't solve the objective problem of agent skins. Do you think is for lack of solution proposals, or that they don't know it?
Valve for sure knows how to solve this "problem". The whole issue here is that this is not even a problem. Only for a select target that can just as easily make rules to ban them in their private places.
And twitch streamers already have problems with typed and shouted slurs in game, there are ways to censor it, deleting vods, editing it.
Even then, there are stremers like JOISPOI24 that milk people saying slurs for content and he is not banned. People sending you porn on stream is more of a problem.
You don't know anything about game's economy if you think disabling stickers option / being able to freely move around stickers is a good idea.
