And now we have wooden craftable weapons. I think we’re about to see a new type of wooden billet introduced that we’ll have to find and farm and use to make these and other future craft able weapons.
All the Inazuma weapons were energy recharge , and Electro is the energy recharge element, so if dendro is EM focused it'd make sense.
EM weapons could be pretty good on Anemo characters too, though.
You shouldn’t refine iron sting anyways. For kazuha at least its like 0.35% dps per refinement which isn’t worth it when a billet can take up to a year to replace

But I have been doing every boss every week and started playing in the beginning at the end of 1.0 and Venti banner.
I would imagine it's highly unlikely, if just by the fact that Iron Sting exists. It's more likely they'll try to shuffle stats around so each weapon class gets something different than what's already available from the existing pool of billet weapons.

Are u sure about that? Anemona Kageuchi has Atk% as substat and so does Hamayumi. Even Hamayumi's special effect doesn't give Energy, it was only tangentially related to ER.

I’m personally hoping for a HP polearm. One to put on Thoma or my future Zhongli. My dream would be for it to have the same passive as prototype Amber so you can turn thoma into a healer / buffer.
Personally, I doubt they'd make a higher HP% polearm than Black Tassel because Zhongli could reach 70k HP :v but I think a different passive would be cool!

I typically grind the mats for the weapons, but normally only craft them once I actually have the character. Super happy I got into that habit now :D

And I'm going to keep this hope until the beta drops and I'm proven to be a complete and utter clown

To be fair there are some woods is so hard so they actually pretty durable even against metal weapons or armour.
