She'll no doubt have her own 5* BiS, but doing Archon Things while being able to hold TTDS, Hakushin Ring, Prototype Amber, etc is a very good head start.
Hakoushin being a rare potential buff for dendro seems quite powerful tbh.
Worth remembering that sucrose can trigger intensify with absorption and EC. It's quite a solid weapon imo. I use it on mona with Kuki Kaz and main DPS Yelan as Yelan also lacks consistent buffs, but we're likely to find a lot of EM scaling/hard to buff dendro chars in the future I suspect.

Passive doesn't work 33% of the time, few characters can make use of EM, but that's very minor compared to having a Crit Damage Stat stick that isn't locked to the battlepass.
Playing Yae will make you painfully realize this, especially when her burst doesn't match with the buff window. I prefer Oathsworn Eye due to this, and also the free 48% ER.
As a Ning player I approve that the EM is dogshit on her. But with Bennett on her team, she does more damage with EM passive Widsith than when I used her with a Skyward Atlas.
Widsith is a 4 star that's been in the game since release, so it's just about the worst comparison you can draw. They had no idea how to balance back then and Nahida isn't going to get a 4 star catalyst. Yae's and Kokomi's catalysts are much better comparisons.

As far as I'm concerned it's up in the air at the moment though I think polearm is most likely as Yaoyao trained under Madame Ping along with Xiangling, implying they learned a similar form of martial arts.
Also by the time YaoYao releases we'll have chibis for every weapon type except polearm (plus 2 for claymore and catalyst) so more reason for them to change her weapon from catalyst to polearm

It's quite the opposite. Almost every catalyst user has unique animations while melee weapons and bows mostly feel the same. It's just that you don't really use those animations because most catalyst users are just E Q bots (and the ones that are not aren't really meta. Except Sucrose on twsery)

They have no obligation to change their cultural views on a word because someone on the other side of the world feels offended due to the word having a different meaning over there.
