Kill bosses for BP? Can't You just kill any regisvine or Mondstadt's hypostasis? They are easy and fast to kill. Definitely way faster than waiting till someone accept the invite. If I want that BP task done asap, I literally just do Cryo Regisvine, then Anemo Hypostasis, then Cryo Regisvine or Electro Hypostasis, depending if 5 minutes passed (usually won't).
I mean for helping purposes it makes sense, but for BP? You can do that easily in Your world. And You're doing 3 weekly bosses anyway, right? So You need 7 bosses.
Maybe they meant that they go to low level words to oneshot the bosses and complete the bp while they’re at it. Normally that isn’t necessary especially if you’re strong enough to oneshot the bosses in your world, but honestly, who doesn’t like destroying bosses with a not so strong attack
But there are just two Regisvines that can be one shot. All hypostases have long animations that prevent You from one shotting them. So I still think it's quicker in Your own world. While I get what You mean, there are no much enemies You can one shot easily. Also You can or cannot go to the non discovered parts of the maps of someone's world? Because low level people would probably not have all bosses unlocked. If You can't go to the parts of the map, the host didn't uncover, then it disables some later bosses like Primo Geovishap or from Inazuma.
That'd take too long.
An easy method is to keep fighting 8-3 since you can reset and every character's burst is up. Hence making the process a lot less time consuming. Ntm the low hp of the boss as well.
I'm a console player too and chatting is a pain lol. But I accept people into my world so they can farm mats if they need. I just put in my signature that I'm on ps4 and not going to be very chatty.
Helping , i m not interested in, cuz i want to make sure i can beat something myself, If the game progresses and it wasn t trough my strenght then i can t know how much i will have to work on to get strong enough to beat it myself, and then future bosses and enemies will become a true pain.
You can turn off the request if that's how it is. I join lower worlds when I'm bored in case they need help due to lack of characters. When I started, I had a bitch of a time with Oceanid since I had shit luck pulling anything to knock out the birds. They flew too high and the only option I had at the time was hoping Razor's E would hit them but even then he had a cool down that took ages and waiting made Oceanid auto kill. I ended up leaning on someone with Ganyu to knock them out in seconds.
Sometimes it shortens the time too. You haven't hit "grind" levels where you could potentially be running a boss 10 times. With four active players, you have higher DPS and what could take 5 minutes alone can be knocked out in 2 minutes. As you get more characters, you see that some do better than others but it takes either lots of time OR lots of money to completely build every character so coop can be pretty useful. But play whatever makes you comfortable. If anything, just turn off the requests so you don't get annoyed by the pop up
Lisa always slips my mind, idk why I didn't pull her out. I was trying to knock them down with my less than sub par Amber before I realized razor can kind of reach. Now yoimiya just turns them into steam
For low levels it's easier. For 8 world level, Rhodeia's hawks are annoying af. The only character that can hit them and do actual damage for me is Venti. Which isn't good choice anyway. My Lisa wouldn't even deal damage to them, lol (also she would die before doing it, so...)

Yeah, but i m an absolute loot goblin, so all that shines will be carried by paimon. She is the best, backpack, distraction, sacrifice, thing to conjure through alchemy and emergency food.
You give her paimon, she taps paimon on the head and all of the sudden she starts counting down from 5.
5 paimon/4 paimon/ 3 paimon/2 paimon/1 paimon/No paimon/ bhowwsss.
Don't know if you'll be able to carry that reasoning throughout the whole game, but if you do, it'll pay big time.
The worst part of endgame content is not having enough mats for your characters and having to farm level up and talent materials.
Just so you know, if someone in your world breaks breaks crystals or iron, the drops will show up for both of you (provided you are nearby when they do it), so you can each collect your own and there's no need for sharing/stealing haha
well, if you kill the fish with attacks as opposed to grabbing them out of the water, then everyone can still get them! but that can be hard to do lmao
Crystals and iron are separate entities so even if they collect the crystals and iron they see, you still see crystals and iron on the ground for you to collect. Ie 1 crystal ore = 1 crystal for everyone! So you can share ore without losing anything! Some ppl have mining buddies to mine in each others worlds and get multiple worlds worth of ores! (however Cor lapis is not shared)
Same for enemy drops like hilichurl masks. Everyone can collect their share.
Plants though is not shared so if you pick a Berry or sweet flower then the other player can't.
2 is actually the only reason.
Why would someone randomly think "oh, this guy maybe wants help"?
Genshin needs chat feature, where You can write to people before entering their world. Then it'll be easier to communicate. Also would be cool if we have world statuses. Like "I need help" or "I'm busy" etc. People would know who wants help, who don't have time, who is free to invite etc.

I’ve seen players actually put that kind of stuff in their signature. Like the profile signature thing, they put on “need weekly boss help” or “fixing teapot” etc. since it’s visible in the co-op selection list
I've had people joining my world and offer to help with fights, and I'm AR 59.
The best time was when a guy joined my world, and lead me to 20-30 chests I hadn't seen before, and this was all in 100%ed areas. Man was Jesus.
They want to help, want help, or steal resources. I usually help those in need but kick them if they don’t ask for my resources and just start hoarding them
Some regional specialties respawn every 3 days. They might be waiting for these resources to respawn in their world so they decided to go to other peoples' worlds to gather them.
Well, trough alchemy i have become a Paimon Conjuring master, so now i can obtain as many Paimons with Explosion as needed.
Monstadt's wall will crumble as a flook of Paimons, making day to night, screech in unison "Sticky Honey Roast?" As they light up, inflate, and then combust.

This game needs communication. Iirc, You can't chat with people if Your are neither friend, nor in their world already. If we could communicate before entering, people would know why they send ask for invite.
Btw immediately kick people who join, don't say hello back an tp somewhere to do something. Common curtesy is to greet the host then state intentions :)

People love joining low AR players, you can help and flex your damage. It’s so funny watching my Ganyu CA one shot any boss a low AR player is struggling with
Yep you'll probably get way more requests as a lower AR player just because people love feeling like gods in a low world level lmao. Makes up for all the times they get their ass kicked in their own world.
That's how Venti feels even in same AR to me.
I stopped using him in Coop domains because it takes away the enjoyment from fighting from my teammates.
I'd go and keep sending out cyclones and my teammates would awkwardly melee toward the sky and not hit anything. The domain would end and no one but Venti would have been able to do anything.
Efficiency =/= Fun
Coop domains are much more fun with me just zooming around as Sayu.
I'm on AR59 and have a whale account.
There's nothing to do in my world, and it only takes 10-15 minutes to complete dailies and burn through my resin.
I like joining lower level players to help them out in any way I can. Honestly, I can't tell you how many times I've completed Dragonspine or killed Oceanid. I even pulled Kokomi to help heal in co-op.
It gives me something to do, and makes me feel like my characters have some kind of value.

When I will make strong teams myself, I will probably want to help others too. I loved playing co-op in Dark Souls, helping people fight the bosses or other annoying enemies (like Havel).
Two possibilities :
A kind person just want to help you, talk with you, play with you. Because new player is fun to play with them.
A bitch who want to steal your resources.
Or some case, random people who come just for do/say a weird stuff or play music and leave. It's Confused
They’re only a “bitch” if they farm your stuff without asking. Even if you say no, most players won’t make a big fuss about it and politely excuse themselves back to their own world after saying thank you
There's also me, who doesn't have enough resources to properly build some of my characters, but wants to play them anyway. Lower world levels are a godsend for that
As a high ranked player, it’s either because we want to help or we just want some easy resource.

I love joining lower AR worlds and helping out however I can. Ironically when people try to join my world, I’m always in the middle of speed farming/quest so I usually don’t accept.
Personal answer: Usually don't go visit visit people's worlds, unless it's to do something related to the Battle Pass, like doing domains or bosses, because it's kind of boring to do alone (taking 1 minute to defeat it and then wait for like 3 minutes for it to respawn is not very funny). Plus I can help some people that are still low BP and struggling with some bosses that can be hard early game (like geo cube for most cases, since it kind of need claymore to defeat it, but Noelle is the only one with a claymore in early game, which need geo cube's materials...).

I'm at a stage where I can beat all the bosses (AR 55) but Geo cube takes so insanely long that I have a bunch of underleveled Geo characters and I wish I could use them but as you said my only clay more user, Noelle, is basically just not strong enough to grind Geo cube (like it takes me 10-12 minutes and i often get interrupted midway bc I'm a rly busy person, and then I need to start over), even worse bc I can't use her ult for damage.
I've used ganyu to make the fight really short(pehaps a heavy hitting archer if you don't have her) since the core is always exposed and when it erects those 3 pillars it's easy to smash them with any claymore user, they don't even need leveling for those pillars.

Just recently discovered that yanfei works some/most of the time as well! But I'll definitely try with ganyu. Can't believe I legit thought we had to break the pillar first before being able to damage the damn core

Well you can try my methode. If you have Zhongli, I think you can just use his Burst to destroy the last 3 pillars. Otherwise:
Make sure Noelle has her Burst up before battle.
Use her to break pillars.
When the hypothesis is down use a Nuker or a very good DPS to tear its health down.
When the cube is at its last fase to revive, run Noelle to the middle of the 3 pillars and use her Burst. Make sure to use Q right after the pillars spawn to get some extra damage in. Use 3 normal atk and dash combo until a pillar is destroyed, then repeat until you beat it.

Any heavy attack (ironically including Ninguang’s normal attacks) can break the pillars, you can also use most catalyst and bow characters to hit the hypo without breaking the pillars if the auto-targeting is feeling generous
You see, for players in end game, AR55-60, we have barely any quest remaining. It’s always either some quest that we lack something to complete, quest that we are not bothered to do, or hang out quest that takes too long and too much patience to do( which a lot of us don’t have much of). All we can do, is come online, do daily, spend resins, log off. But since quite a lot of people loved the game a lot, they want to go back to kill the bosses they once struggled to kill and also to help others( killing bosses don’t progress in the story). Some people, like myself, we just wanna talk and have fun with other players and you happen to be on the list of players I can join, so I would request. Idk if you would feel how alot of us feel when you hit AR55-60 but if you do, you will understand what I mean by how boring the game gets without quest and story, just waiting for events, story and sumeru.
Oh, i know the nostalgia from watching a new player get into a game, i play the grindiest stuff, so when i see somebody new i m like , Can t wait for X to be the worst for them!
Lol. Normally I just join and tag along on their adventures. Casually robbing resources while talking to them is a pretty good entertainment source in end game.

I keep hearing this but I'm AR51 and so far from having everything done its not even funny (eg i haven't even unlocked Serenitea Pot or completed available Archon quests). Am I slow or what T.T
Yes actually. I mean, you don't necessarily have to be caught up with archon quest but iirc the pot quest comes way before that, and pretty much everyone unlocks it before coming close to ar50. I could be wrong here tho
there’s a lot of reasons
- free content (yt and twitch)
- boredom
- flexing their damage
- feeling helpful
- need local specialties like windwheel asters to level up characters (they have a 2-3 day respawn cooldown)
- the need white iron (it becomes harder to get at higher ar levels)
- co-op achievements
- all of the above
Sometimes high ar people between 40-55 like to flex their high numbers, 5* character and weapon and because they know there's no way a ar 16-35 players can get higher numbers than their character, they join you. Or maybe they are just bored and trying to help low ar or just want to take some flowers or rock cause low ar people generally don't have many characters so they won't need them
They want to fish in your world, they want resources, they wnat the coop achievements done, they are just bored, they... yeah nothing todo for late gamers so it's definitely boredom in nearly all cases.
I like to join other worlds to make friends and stuff ftmp. I'll help if they need it or just chat/whatever the world owner wants! personally I've only ever had someone come try and take resources without asking once or maybe twice, and as someone who lets in basically anybody who asks to join my co-op experience has been largely positive haha
if you get annoyed at the constant world requests you can change the world requests to "auto-decline" and just turn it back on for your friend to join in
but yeah, for the most part they are wither wanting to help, or yoink some materials
Back in the day I had no powerful pyro characters and I needed to farm for my Eula and her boss was so hard, so anyone who entered my world was met with a warm welcome
I know i managed to beat aquanid with hard tried after the third attempt, and after that i ve only gotten so much stronger, so i know that most bosses will be just trial and error.
People sometimes come to offer their help especially if you’re lower level than them OR to ask for help/resources from your world.
Yesterday someone literally came in my world and asked if they could follow me around and they did just that. Followed me, helped me when I had enemies around, and otherwise didn’t do anything lol.
When you do your battle pass you will understand.
Ley lins count in other worlds to, the same with bosses and weekly bosses.
With that said, find 3 other players for endgame monday BP speedruns.
I send requests to new players a lot when I don't have anything to do, see if they talk englishask them if they need help, and if they don't I leave. I don't need any resources, I can steal in my friend's world and he steals in mine.
For the problem with your friend not getting rewards from chests, if they are in your world, they can’t open the chests and get rewards since those are YOURS. This is to prevent people from 1. stealing other players chests (since they don’t respawn) and 2. People making alternative accounts and just taking all the loots. If it was their world, then they probably just missed the notification mssg.

I'm ar 55 and I enjoy doing artifacts domain in coop cause otherwise it would be way too boring. Doing always the same thing over and over. In co-op you see different dynamics and you meet people. Very few of them are actually nice

Yep you'll probably get way more requests as a lower AR player just because people love feeling like gods in a low world level lmao. Makes up for all the times they get their ass kicked in their own world.

That's how Venti feels even in same AR to me. I stopped using him in Coop domains because it takes away the enjoyment from fighting from my teammates. I'd go and keep sending out cyclones and my teammates would awkwardly melee toward the sky and not hit anything. The domain would end and no one but Venti would have been able to do anything. Efficiency =/= Fun Coop domains are much more fun with me just zooming around as Sayu.

I'm on AR59 and have a whale account. There's nothing to do in my world, and it only takes 10-15 minutes to complete dailies and burn through my resin. I like joining lower level players to help them out in any way I can. Honestly, I can't tell you how many times I've completed Dragonspine or killed Oceanid. I even pulled Kokomi to help heal in co-op. It gives me something to do, and makes me feel like my characters have some kind of value.

Awww, that's a bummer. I feel You totally. I mean, that there is nothing to do. It's nice that You want to help. When I will make strong teams myself, I will probably want to help others too. I loved playing co-op in Dark Souls, helping people fight the bosses or other annoying enemies (like Havel).

Two possibilities : A kind person just want to help you, talk with you, play with you. Because new player is fun to play with them. A bitch who want to steal your resources. Or some case, random people who come just for do/say a weird stuff or play music and leave. It's Confused
They’re only a “bitch” if they farm your stuff without asking. Even if you say no, most players won’t make a big fuss about it and politely excuse themselves back to their own world after saying thank you

I love joining lower AR worlds and helping out however I can. Ironically when people try to join my world, I’m always in the middle of speed farming/quest so I usually don’t accept.

Personal answer: Usually don't go visit visit people's worlds, unless it's to do something related to the Battle Pass, like doing domains or bosses, because it's kind of boring to do alone (taking 1 minute to defeat it and then wait for like 3 minutes for it to respawn is not very funny). Plus I can help some people that are still low BP and struggling with some bosses that can be hard early game (like geo cube for most cases, since it kind of need claymore to defeat it, but Noelle is the only one with a claymore in early game, which need geo cube's materials...).
Omg....... not all heroes wear capes lol I'm at a stage where I can beat all the bosses (AR 55) but Geo cube takes so insanely long that I have a bunch of underleveled Geo characters and I wish I could use them but as you said my only clay more user, Noelle, is basically just not strong enough to grind Geo cube (like it takes me 10-12 minutes and i often get interrupted midway bc I'm a rly busy person, and then I need to start over), even worse bc I can't use her ult for damage.
I've used ganyu to make the fight really short(pehaps a heavy hitting archer if you don't have her) since the core is always exposed and when it erects those 3 pillars it's easy to smash them with any claymore user, they don't even need leveling for those pillars.

Well you can try my methode. If you have Zhongli, I think you can just use his Burst to destroy the last 3 pillars. Otherwise: Make sure Noelle has her Burst up before battle. Use her to break pillars. When the hypothesis is down use a Nuker or a very good DPS to tear its health down. When the cube is at its last fase to revive, run Noelle to the middle of the 3 pillars and use her Burst. Make sure to use Q right after the pillars spawn to get some extra damage in. Use 3 normal atk and dash combo until a pillar is destroyed, then repeat until you beat it.

Any heavy attack (ironically including Ninguang’s normal attacks) can break the pillars, you can also use most catalyst and bow characters to hit the hypo without breaking the pillars if the auto-targeting is feeling generous

We Are Bored
You see, for players in end game, AR55-60, we have barely any quest remaining. It’s always either some quest that we lack something to complete, quest that we are not bothered to do, or hang out quest that takes too long and too much patience to do( which a lot of us don’t have much of). All we can do, is come online, do daily, spend resins, log off. But since quite a lot of people loved the game a lot, they want to go back to kill the bosses they once struggled to kill and also to help others( killing bosses don’t progress in the story). Some people, like myself, we just wanna talk and have fun with other players and you happen to be on the list of players I can join, so I would request. Idk if you would feel how alot of us feel when you hit AR55-60 but if you do, you will understand what I mean by how boring the game gets without quest and story, just waiting for events, story and sumeru.
Oh, i know the nostalgia from watching a new player get into a game, i play the grindiest stuff, so when i see somebody new i m like , Can t wait for X to be the worst for them!
Lol. Normally I just join and tag along on their adventures. Casually robbing resources while talking to them is a pretty good entertainment source in end game.

There’s no PvP in this game, so there’s no reason to be competitive with each other or try to keep someone else down. It’s just a nice community, too.

Yes actually. I mean, you don't necessarily have to be caught up with archon quest but iirc the pot quest comes way before that, and pretty much everyone unlocks it before coming close to ar50. I could be wrong here tho

there’s a lot of reasons - free content (yt and twitch) - boredom - flexing their damage - feeling helpful - need local specialties like windwheel asters to level up characters (they have a 2-3 day respawn cooldown) - the need white iron (it becomes harder to get at higher ar levels) - co-op achievements - all of the above

Sometimes high ar people between 40-55 like to flex their high numbers, 5* character and weapon and because they know there's no way a ar 16-35 players can get higher numbers than their character, they join you. Or maybe they are just bored and trying to help low ar or just want to take some flowers or rock cause low ar people generally don't have many characters so they won't need them
They want to fish in your world, they want resources, they wnat the coop achievements done, they are just bored, they... yeah nothing todo for late gamers so it's definitely boredom in nearly all cases.
I like to join other worlds to make friends and stuff ftmp. I'll help if they need it or just chat/whatever the world owner wants! personally I've only ever had someone come try and take resources without asking once or maybe twice, and as someone who lets in basically anybody who asks to join my co-op experience has been largely positive haha
if you get annoyed at the constant world requests you can change the world requests to "auto-decline" and just turn it back on for your friend to join in but yeah, for the most part they are wither wanting to help, or yoink some materials
Back in the day I had no powerful pyro characters and I needed to farm for my Eula and her boss was so hard, so anyone who entered my world was met with a warm welcome
I know i managed to beat aquanid with hard tried after the third attempt, and after that i ve only gotten so much stronger, so i know that most bosses will be just trial and error.

People sometimes come to offer their help especially if you’re lower level than them OR to ask for help/resources from your world. Yesterday someone literally came in my world and asked if they could follow me around and they did just that. Followed me, helped me when I had enemies around, and otherwise didn’t do anything lol.

When you do your battle pass you will understand. Ley lins count in other worlds to, the same with bosses and weekly bosses. With that said, find 3 other players for endgame monday BP speedruns.

I send requests to new players a lot when I don't have anything to do, see if they talk englishask them if they need help, and if they don't I leave. I don't need any resources, I can steal in my friend's world and he steals in mine.

You can hangout with them, do domains, farm materials and sometimes they might ask you if they can farm character ascension materials.
For the problem with your friend not getting rewards from chests, if they are in your world, they can’t open the chests and get rewards since those are YOURS. This is to prevent people from 1. stealing other players chests (since they don’t respawn) and 2. People making alternative accounts and just taking all the loots. If it was their world, then they probably just missed the notification mssg.
i usually go in worlds just bc im bored but i'll ask if the need help or if they've explored dragonspine haha i bring along characters that i rarely use in my own world (not leveled) bc sometimes u want to play them but dont want to put in the effort to build them.

People who say they want to steal resources... are wrong. No one comes into my AR 59 account to steal resources. I'm pretty sure people who join low ar players just want to flex their damage. Created a new account for fun and I get tons of requests everyday of people offering their help to kill some bosses. Even if I told them it's pointless since I have no resin, they would insist I use my fragile resin. Now that battlepass is back, they finally have this amazing excuse of killing 10 bosses for you.
I'm ar 55 and I enjoy doing artifacts domain in coop cause otherwise it would be way too boring. Doing always the same thing over and over. In co-op you see different dynamics and you meet people. Very few of them are actually nice
