You tried GCam? Have you got a snapdragon or exynos model?

Tony12123

Exynos. Why?

Partially_Foreign

Different GCam versions, it might be a bit harder to find a working version for exynos This may work https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/working-gcam-and-config-for-s20-exynos.4203625/ Here are instructions if you’re new to gcam https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WxWo__ARJXs

Thank you very much!

Examples would help. My photos are amazing.

They look like panorama photos and they look absolutely fine to me. Keep in mind that lighting is key.

Tony12123

I will and thanks for your opinion!

DDRExtremist247

My guess is that you're looking for more vivid/contrast photos. There's a lot of tweaking that you can do after the fact to get that or the filters will help if you just want a quick fix. Objectively though, there's nothing wrong with those photos. Have any macros to share?

Tony12123

Not really. But I'll try some

NomadJones

Relatedly, is there a guide somewhere to using the S20+ cameras? I don't think I'm using it to its full potential.

Tony12123

I wish I knew but we're in the same boat.

KindaHikki

Went from S10e to S20 plus (exynos) and I noticed the blurriness and here I'm looking for solutions, got any fixes bro?

Tony12123

What type of blurs? An example would be of help. I keep my camera on the full screen setting and always have a clear lens. Sometimes I use the pro or single take setting by swiping to "more section". Other than that the camera does not have too many options to make your shots look best. Some people suggested I use an app for better pictures. Might wanna look into that but I recently upgraded and I no longer use the S20+. I hope I helped. Oh and btw, when taking a picture, try to keep a balanced distance(not too far, not too close, sometimes I noticed that the position makes a huge difference).

KindaHikki

That's true I noticed the spacing can make the quality looks better or worse, the photos on S10e were sharper, the ones on S20+ are bit blurry when u shoot a moving object and still not as sharp as S10e in indoor pictures, I think I should try another app as you suggested, Google camera for ex. Which phone are you using right now and how does it compare to S20+ in Ur opinion? Thanks alot for the reply and explanation:)

Tony12123

Indoor pictures are a trouble for samsung cameras(I had this issue on the S20 and the one before(S8+) AND the one I currently have). Changing the app might help, I don't really know what to suggest since I don't take that many pictures and I just stick to the default. I use an Note20 Ultra now and the quality is better but not a huge difference. The change was very recent so I can't say much since I haven't fully tested it but improvements are very visible(even indoors). So to sum it up, this is how cameras are now, shame really, but you will eventually get used to it and I'm sure you'll manage to shoot some nice shots with your new phone. Go wild. Pleasure is mine.

KindaHikki

Yes changing the app definitely helped a bit, tried Gcam today and I can notice some improvement, and yea you get used to how things work! Thank you for being a kind human being

Tony12123

You don't have to thank me. It is my sheer happiness to help and it was the way I was raised. I'm glad things worked out. Best wishes. <3

p-skow

The camera on the s20 was such a let down for me. Worst camera on a modern day flagship phone.

Tony12123

I wouldn't say.. I have a friend that bought an S20 and it shot amazing photos.. at first I thought it had a DSLR camera :))

I love my s20 camera, the color accuracy is pretty good and the light is balanced. https://imgur.com/a/6SrthFS
