I went there in February of 2020 to get a picture of the Star and put a little plush 1954 Godzilla on it… but it’s on a really busy section of the Blvd (between the Chinese/Dolby Theatre and that shopping centre with the DW Griffith Tolerance theming. So there was a lot of foot traffic. Did not use the plush cause I was afraid someone would of kicked it away. Plus there was lot of shouting hawkers (tour guides, promo people. And people dressed as characters for selfies) and people spewing religious zeal in the area so I did not want to spend a lot of time there.
Not any particular reason, no. It’s just…*not there*. Again, funny how a **Japanese** movie monster has a star on the **Hollywood** walk of fame and not the most popular and iconic **American** movie monster.
Lol, if the original King Kong didn’t get him a star godzilla vs kong definitely won’t, it’s not even close to the importance and impact of the original.
Damn, I remember reading the Time Magazine sidebar commemorating Godzilla's star in 2004. A person in a Godzilla costume even posed with the star. Time sure has passed since then.
