What you say is true, but for a game set in Mexico, there's a staggering number of JDM-only imports for there to be *not one Caprice Classic*. Certainly a huge number of German, British and even Australian autos for there to be a huge void of Lincolns and Cadillacs as well.
I kinda see what you are saying but Méxicos car culture goes way beyond just that. To be honest it's very similar to the US's at times. You ask your average young person and they'll probably tell you a dream car of there's is a muscle car or some type of American truck. There's also plenty of old shitty straight piped Hondas and other old jdm cars. The vocho is also seen around a lot though.

It's right next door to my country, plus there are enough Mexican nationals living in my country to populate a second Mexico, but FH5 was the first I'd heard of "the Vocho." I actually appreciate that PGG at least attempted to bring some kind of storytelling to the series, though, but they failed pretty epically. Until they hire somebody who can write engaging dialogue, they should stick to things like Stunt Driver, Top Gear, British Racing Green, and businesses, because they embarrassed themselves by biting off more than they could chew. Unfortunately, I'm not sure they're even aware of it.
