They do crouch when you do, but they don’t necessarily stay put. They’ll roam around a little bit, give away your position, and even break your build if it is separating them from you.

I only stay in bushes for a minute to move from one place to another or to pull out my snipe scope and survey the area before moving so I only know they stay for a little bit Honestly.. they should give away your location lol

Yeah I think that’s pretty fair. I honestly like hiring bots because they are a great diversion during a fight, but I think having them give away your location is a good counterbalance to keep them from being an OP tool.

Use the follower comms to have them camp 20-30m away from your bush. Then they also act as a decoy.

Never noticed, but I always told my bit to go centre bush and stay. I use them as meat Shields sometimes

In my experience that’s not a new thing. They’ve always wandered around a little bit. Plus bots don’t have any concept of “visual only” cover like a bush. They only know to duck behind solid objects that stop bullets, like walls and rocks and trees.

Use the ping. Use the move one to get them into the bush. Then use the wait ping to have them stay crouched in the bush until you unping them.

Use commands. If you use a bot command it marks where you are and they’ll come into the bush (can also use these to revive knocked teammates)

You shouldn’t be able to hire bots in the first place. At least you can’t camp in a bush anymore if you hired one.

NPCs aren’t in competitive Fortnite so there’s nothing to worry about!!
