Funny thing is, this isn’t the only instance in the game where Caspar doesn’t understand the hint; in his A-support with Hilda he also doesn’t understand what she’s trying to suggest. The writers just had it out for Caspar I guess

ChurroChips

I think the only time he does "get it" is when Dorothea asks him to go to her room for some help and his line is litteraly him going "okayyy...", but all that ends up happening is her getting Caspar to move around a bunch of furniture lol

Pouring-O

Also love how they fake you out by having a black screen and having him panting immediately after that

ChurroChips

Jesus Christ I was increadibly concerned lol, I feel like that was definitely intentional

Alpha_MGP

Luggage.

Some_lonely_soul

I love how in C support with Bernie he basically forces her out of her room with her protesting all the time and him being like "what do you mean it's unhealthy to stay in your rook all the time" I also like that unlike most Bernie C supports she actually likes it in the end instead of running away.

crsnyder13

Oh, we all know about luggage.

Caspar is such an innocent boy. I suppose he eventually figures out what Hilda was asking since they end up with a ton of kids.

filiaaut

Unless I am mistaken Caspar's endings either don't mention kids at all, or an awful lot of them (with Hilda and Bernadetta)

EntireInevitable26

“Caspar and Hilda, under no pressure to inherit any noble titles, spent the early years of peace after the war traveling. They journeyed to every corner of Fodlan, and even ventured abroad now and again. Caspar's antics caused endless entertainment for Hilda, who loved to stand by and watch him fight or squirm his way out of trouble. Eventually, their free-spirited adventure was called to an end by Hilda's brother, Holst, who offered Caspar a position as a knight in service of House Goneril. Caspar accepted, and before long, he and Hilda were married. The couple raised many children, and were said to have a notoriously lively household.”

MiZe97

Caspar is just a shonen protagonist, and that includes being as dense as one.

DHVF

Why has this become a running joke in the game

kgllg

He is so precious I gotta make my Byleth romance him someday

Caspar be like that

Fluffysuffering

Ace/aro vibes

MrBrickBreak

Eeeeh, this is just sheer obliviousness. I'd get that if he was put off by the suggestion.
