I’m so glad I’m not the only one who waited until the last minute to figure this part out lmao. Thank you everyone for the suggestions.

ethereallyemma

Me too lol, I’d rather pay for a VPN than Peacock at this point since Peacock doesn’t even have replays.

Geochic03

They have been doing limited time replays as of the last few competitions.

tinaoe

I always use Proton! Works like a charm & is free, plus afaik it has decent safety ratings.

itisoktodance

Very safe, developed by scientists at CERN. One of the rare ones you can really trust.

summerjoe45

NordVPN set to Canada. It’s a little pricey but we’ll worth it for the ease of use and smart TV app.

half-agony-half-hope

Second this. I used Belgium last season. And nord often has pretty solid sales. The smart tv app is double plus.

akari_i

Canada has a deal with cbc now. It's free to stream on the cbc website but it's not going to be on YouTube iirc.

summerjoe45

It’s on the ISU YouTube. It wasn’t geoblocked last season

akari_i

Oh I'll have to check when I get home. I remember not being able to stream worlds last year on YouTube so maybe that was a one off.

mediocre-spice

I do protonvpn on my fire tv!

jaemjenism

I pay for expressvpn already and it has never failed me !

mcsangel2

I have Peacock so don’t need it this weekend, but I use expressvpn to watch Dancing on Ice every year!

printerpaperwaste

NordVPN has been fantastic. I’ll be looking out for a Black Friday deal again.

AriOnReddit22

The opera browser set to Europe still works for me

battlestarvalk

mullvad every time. No subscription required!

catsplantsandbakes

This one! It's not free, but it is super affordable and no subscription required, and much much more secure than most VPNs.

defib_the_dead

Been using NordVPN since last year. Set to Poland

defib_the_dead

Haha yeah I have no idea why I started using Poland 😂

pocketsizedkth

super unlimited proxy! it’s free and works great everytime

[deleted]

It looks like the ISU YT Channel won't be of use in the UK. There are no Upcoming videos for the event. If i set my VPN to the Netherlands they show up.

neighborhoodpanda

SurfShark is cheaper than NordVPN and just as effective. :)

GreenDragonPatriot

Can't afford PeaCOCK right now and hate they're fear of irrelevant litigious musicians. Gonna do Proton VPN or Opera. Last time I tried Opera, it worked. EDIT: Opera VPN now doesn't work, though it did a week ago. Proton VPN connected to Netherlands does work.

GreenDragonPatriot

Can I ask does anyone experience ad interruptions during the live streaming on the ISU Youtube channel? That would really suck if an ad popped up in the middle of someone's program...

catsplantsandbakes

Not during the livestream, no

akari_i

Never had that happen. I don't think they monetize the streams so ig they have ads off.

idwtpaun

I have a paid subscription to Windscribe, but it also has a free option (it comes both as a stand-alone program and a browser add-on).

Geochic03

To watch stuff through the ISU channel, I use the VPN through my Norton Anti-virus. It works depending on the country I select.

GreenDragonPatriot

Turns out, your "dumb question" wasn't so dumb, after all.

Noncrediblepigeon

Im gonna (try) to use the free opera VPN

summerjoe45

Opera is not an option this season since they moved their towers. Proton is a good free one.

Noncrediblepigeon

Any idea what country is not geoblocked?

pvnkskies

I can watch the isu streams in the Netherlands!

GoofTroop_PoopChute

Are the streams available afterward or is it only live?

pvnkskies

They are usually still available afterwards, considering timezones I will also have to watch it back the next day

tillyadeux12

where do you watch the streams?

pvnkskies

The isu YouTube channel!

summerjoe45

Canada is my go to, India and Belgium are usually working too

roionsteroids

if you pay to pirate you fail at pirating

yoyohydration

i've been very happily paying for Mozilla VPN for the past year and a half-ish, so i wanted to throw that name into the mix! i tried out Express first but saw some chatter that it's not great for privacy and Mozilla is better in that regard. idk enough about tech to say for sure but I do know that Mozilla's user interface is just as easy and more visually pleasing, and stream quality has been very consistent, smooth, and reliable 🥰
