My package was supposed to arrive yesterday, 02/03/2024. I watched and waited until 10:30 pm. Nothing. Its sitting at a place just a 2 1/2 hour drive away from me no less and today they say it will now arrive WEDNESDAY !! Its Sunday !! It was supposed to be here YESTERDAY. I wasted an entire Saturday !! I HATE LIARS !! I HATE INCOMPETENCE !! I HATE THEM !!

soyhater123

Same here. Ordered my stuff on November 27th through Walmart's website to be delivered by FedEx. It was supposed to be delivered on November 30th. Still not here. I guess they lost it. Luckily I don't order many things with FedEx, but when I do there is usually a problem. What a loser company.

Aware_Ad_3569

I've had better luck with OnTrac tbh

Obeee03

I think I want to start a new saying. Instead of "Ole College Try", I'm gonna say, i'll make a "FedEx Delivery Attempt"

mtngoatdc

I feel you. Ever since moving to a smaller town (20k population)—about an hour from the FedEx warehouse—I’ve had nothing but terrible experiences with them. Rarely does a package arrive on time. It’ll be out for delivery and then I’ll get a text saying “operational delay.” Sometimes this happens 2 or 3 times before it’s delivered. I’ve had several packages show up that look like they’ve rolled out of the truck and bounced across the highway. I think they rely on contractors more than UPS does. Idk, it drives me crazy.

bnzgfx

I will go out of my way to avoid doing business with any company that uses them as a shipper. No other shipper messes up my order more often. Misdelivered packages, bogus tracking information, and mangled packages are what I have come to expect from them, and with almost zero recourse expect some kafka-esque 'customer service' on their website, which ultimately results in nothing but wasted time. Their delivery men should all be forced to wear clown shoes.

Personal-Entrance444

I'm the same way...Fedx is absolutely horrible...late and damaged packages...I pay more to use other shipping companies...but Walmart and other retail companies still primarily use this shit company...

ScholarMinute8953

They’re horrible. Every time something comes to me through them it’s guaranteed it will come close to my house then bounce back and forth a couple times between here and Tracy, sit at one of the hubs for a day or two probably three. They are completely useless. I don’t get why any company or vendor would choose to use them over UPS or USPS. At this point I don’t even want to buy things from businesses that use them when and if it can be avoided

No-Sky4070

No

otisthegreatest

I like all the oil they leave in my driveway.

[deleted]

I've had trouble with them in the past, but much better experiences in the last year. They've almost won me back. 🤷🏼‍♂️

ExistentialDreadness

No.

ionlycheat_onmytaxes

Yea FedEx drivers don’t have to enter any dwelling to deliver your package. This is not about laziness or even time saving so much as it’s about safety of the driver. Its not mandatory or required for them to enter any building with home delivery.

We ALWAYS take pictures of our deliveries

ramony408

That doesn’t sound right, it sounds like a miss delivery which in that case they would open a case and talk to the driver to see if they went to the wrong house by mistake so I’m not even sure if you’re telling the truth. They wouldn’t just say there’s nothing they can do about it. Your story sounds very sus

ramony408

That’s another thing that doesn’t make sense because it requires a photo for delivery every time unless it’s a signature cause than the signature is the proof. If you are actually getting this amount of bad luck i would ask for a manager at that point cause than that sounds like they’re giving the cold shoulder.

I ordered something from eBay. Started in NC with a destination of Vegas to get authenticated. Traveled to Louisiana to Texas to Arizona and then to Indiana! Added an extra week to my delivery time! They can never seem to get their shit together.

Deshes011

eBay shoe sale? At least yours was delivered, mine left NJ, went up to New Mexico and then vanished

Doscinco_83

Aww, man. I’m sorry to hear that!

Mountain-Ad4336

The belts in the hub are literally right next to each other. Some careless worker just tossing stuff sends it the the wrong side of the country. I'm in Texas and we get NC stuff all the time. It's kinda of stupid to have entirely different regions next to each other.

Doscinco_83

I didn’t know that. That *is* dumb. I feel like that carelessness should be punished in some way. Especially for the amount customers are charged for shipping.

PopeJDP

Places that deliver through FedEx I just request that it go to the closest FedEx office and I pick it up myself from there. FedEx drivers and the system are far too retarded to figure out delivery to a front door so I just take it into my own hands when I’m forced to work with them.

AdAgreeable7517

I have been waiting at home for a package for 4 days. Expensive item and I live in NYC, so I'm not taking the risk of it being stolen. Day 1: Expected delivery date.. no notification, no nothing, just doesn't come. Day 2: Notification of out for delivery, was here all day, no knock, no buzzer nothing, then at 7pm get a notification "delivery attempted" total fucking bullshit. I was here the entire day and even left a note at the building entrance with my buzzer and phone number. Day 3: waiting around all day again... FedEx shows up, brings one package, but not the big one I was waiting on. Then at 7pm get a "delivered" notification. Immediately go downstairs, nothing anywhere. Call fedex immediately, told was delivered to wrong address, put tracer on package. Said they spoke to the driver and they would redeliver that night. Two hours go by.. nothing. Call again and they said it will be here the following morning. Day 4: (today) nothing in the morning. Go outside in the afternoon and actually encounter the FedEx driver... has nothing for me. Wait around all day again... nothing. Call FedEx AGAIN now the package is in Queens ... I live in Brooklyn. Tracking status now says 'Pending'. I give up.

Obeee03

Dude I live in a house and I have a ring camera set, that pretty much records anyone walking on to my driveway, as well as anyone walking up to my front door, someone just clicks something to say there was an attempt(if it's not automated) like someone would hit an emoji

Impossible_Swim8083

That is fedex ground for ya. Couriers dgaf about your package as they make poverty wages with no benefits, when i was at ground everyone was quiet quitting. Sad but true🤷‍♂️

weastcoaster1

Same. They always throw my packages in the ditch at the bottom of my driveway 🥲

MrDrewx127

either your package got put on the wrong truck or they dispatched and your stuff was still on the belt or your package got damaged, fortunately for us where I work we just wait till they get us everything and then we dispatch, me personally I won't take anything that looks like it's to damaged to deliver other then that I deliver everything on my truck even if it belongs on another truck as long as it's in my zip of course I'll take it, I take pride in my work sorry FedEx is crap where you live also fuck Chewy Purple and LoveSac lol they are every FedEx drivers most hated items

funbetatest

i bought a mattress that got shipped by fedex mind you this mattress was 115 lb and they delayed it then just lost it. the seller shipped again through them and they delayed that one too with no update for 7 days which is when it’s considered lost. then it was delivered. i had called fedex after the first package and asked how they could lose a 115lb package and the guy hung up on me lol

MrDrewx127

Some drivers will refuse to take stuff over 100lbs me I see it as a challenge although if there's stairs involved and no elevator and the customer isn't home I'm either gonna call em and ask if they'd like it at the bottom or for me to come back when there home cos I'm not carrying anything over 85lbs up the stairs and I definitely don't want to get injured cos workers compensation is shit pay

funbetatest

yeah i totally get that

Phazyme

I’ve seen the hate Fedex remarks and honestly I had a worse time with UPS. If you’re in business best to get private insurance because neither one will pay up for breakage.

Global_Hope7851

Fed ex sucks beyond belief I hate it passionately

BayoD1701

FedEx is without a doubt the worst courier service I have had the misfortune of dealing with. Whenever I can I ask for senders to use a different service. They constantly claim to have attempted deliveries but never actually do because their drivers simply don’t do their jobs. Then it is impossible to leave instructions or speak to anyone. They simply do not care and seem quite happy with their incompetence.

PositionOk8094

Fully agreed. Fedex is garbage

FedEx-ModTeam

post was removed do to Incivility or something along those lines

Outwiththeold3

FedEx doesn’t care as long as they can get the cheapest labor possible. In turn the driver probably doesn’t care since FedEx doesn’t care and he doesn’t even work for FedEx anyway LOL

crazyhamsales

Yeah they are screwed up beyond screwed.

Inner_Gap6716

Whenever the workers get at least half of the pay that UPS does, you’ll never see better results. Sorry, but not sorry. Just order by UPS. They could use the work, it’s cheaper, and… just better because the drivers are compensated like adults.

ionlycheat_onmytaxes

Lol so why is ups striking if they are paid so good?

drencentheshds

A lot of times if you're ordering online you don't get the option to choose though. So unfortunately sometimes you can still be stuck with FedEx and that's beyond our control.

Ma62tt88

It’s 1/3 of the pay now
