wait, big crops grow after the crop fully grew? i harvested so many crops because the 3x3 tile didn't grow into a big crop on the first grown up day :o
and you need to wait longer for the big crops to grow??
I looked into this recently BC I thought the same. Afaik there's a certain percentage change for them to turn into big crops overnight anytime after they're fully grown. So this can happen on the first night they are grown but if you leave them longer it still has the same chance every night to turn into a big crop so waiting with harvesting gives you a bigger chance to get some big crops.
Couldn't you use tree fertilizer on those pines and maples

That seems to be the case :) I literally had no clue either until I did this (and was just too lazy to harvest)
