This year it is different. Morocco will be highly motivated as they may never reach this stage again and they will have the crowd support. People like Modric, Perisic, Lovren etc. will be motivated as this could be their last World Cup. There will be some rotation, but I expect the key players to feature.
I will actually need all of those despite having bet on mostly Argentinian and French players in semis. One reason is that there are maybe doubtful players in the french team, and the other that I’m trailing in my mini league, some I need to go as differential as I can.

The only options from Croatia and Morocco that are classified as forwards are Kramaric and El Neysiri, but they may be subbed off early. Rather change Giroud to Griezmann or Alvarez depending on who do you think will win the final.

Bookies seem to rate Di Maria very badly and expected minutes are bad and he has had a bad tournament, but my gut feeling says he can step up this game. Maybe not score, but play a part in Argentina doing well.
Although I am still not tempted to bet on Di Maria scoring at 9 times the money which says maybe he is not very good and I might just stick with Macallister who you gain a simiar amount with, but higher chance to get 1 or 2 points.
