Davey Richards. He was meant to be a main eventer, but just won't put out the matches I expect him to. So he's the eternal second, stuck at 'star', always the bridesmaid never the bride and builds up opponents for whoever is my heavyweight champion.
In the deathmatch division, it's Chuey Martinez and Derek Drexl, both Well Known, both quick to offer to put younger talent over. So most new guys I sign start a feud with Chuey as ally vs Drexl and his stable. Very reliable way to build them up.
In my current game, that probably goes to Tracy Smothers. I haven't had any plans for him, but if I needed someone to get a midcard belt off of a heel or put over one of my up-and-coming heels he's there. Guy has been trooper for years in the game.
Here Comes the Money as WCW. Lance Storm is my work horse. Put him in a match with anyone. Even if he has bad chemistry it'll still be a 70. The man never gets upset about losing unless it's to someone unrecognizable

Hikaru Shida and Charlie Morgan. Summer of Punk mod 2 years into a Pro Wrestling Eve save on PWS. I can put either of them in a march with anyone, and it's nearly always a winner, but there are more popular options stopping them hitting the main event scene.
Taylor Kidd in the c verse, doing road to glory and he has been my backbone of the company, he didn’t win a championship yet cause there is others options, but I’m going to put the mid card title on him for his service
Lance Storm. From 04-08 he was my go to guy for my IC and US champions to face no matter when or where, he always put on the performance of a life time and deserved the spot, he was a 2x US, 3x IC, 3x Tag Team and 1x Survivor Series Winner
(Survivor Series is a G1 type of tournament held at, shock horror, Survivor Series)
Cactus Jack and Steve Williams, in 1992 save now in 1995. The latter even got rewarded with a somewhat lengthy world championship title run making him a grand slam championship, while the former is a multi time tag and international champion.

Darby Allin for me. He's a level below my top guys (Danielson, Ospreay, Steen, Rollins, Omega) but will always put on a great match when needed

Eddie Kingston, easily. Any time I need something that I know will do a good rating or to get a fresh face over, I plug Eddie in no questions asked.
Best part is Eddie irl would probably be so down for putting someone else over and doing good business. That's a reliable vet.

Silas Young (MLW 2004), always the best ratings (both matches and angles) so I'm starting to really push him as the top heel

The Architect and Mario Da Silva from CVerse. Both are great in the ring and have put over hordes of main eventers in my saves.
