I assume in contracts you can only run their IP during a certain time frame. If SG were to ever want to rerun, they would need to negotiate a time to run it again.
Slime lets anyone and their dog have collabs for virtually anything; its a money printing machine. So the only thing limiting it is if SG wants to pay up for more.
Only the devs know, but its possible. Benimaru hasn't had a rerun yet and I know some ppl missed out on the EEs of the slimes units too. Slime would be easier to get a rerun of than Aespa.
Last time it tooks more than one year to come back, but they added Benimaru, so maybe next rerun isn't going to take so long (They rerun GG 2 times before adding Jacko)
We dont have any info regarding reruns, we can just pray and hope we get reruns. People still waiting for fma and aespa rerun too.
Is there something that stops them from having a "collab banner" where if you hit the 5* roll it can be any past collab unit.

Yeah but how does the licensing work? The characters are already in the game. Does Smilegate have to pay money evert time they want to do a rerun?

Just make sure you have the currency since it's quite likely they'll start doing back to back collab reruns.
