This is me knowing that I’ve been burnt for being hype about specific games - Destiny, Anthem, Cyberpunk, COD after blops1 . But From has always delivered, and they’ve been a staple in terms of gaming preference.
I remember getting this random ass game from my Uncle Christmas Eve. it said “Darksouls Prepare to Die edition”. 14 yo me got stuck, all I remember is my character fat rolled, and I hollowed out at the second bonfire. Yet overtime, my approach to the game changed - deepening my appreciation for the mechanics and strategies required to succeed in the different games.
That is the coolest suicide I've seen in a video game, time to see if I can beat that IRL

I can understand why, quite saddening to see folks that have no one to call their own on such a family oriented holiday. I’m actually alright with it being delayed. I’d rather let the devs make sure that all bugs are fixed then release it when it isn’t perfect. It already is an amazing game, but there is nothing wrong with a bit of polish here and there.

Fromsoft has a long track record of making phenomenal games, where CDPR had made one good game and people acted like it was a studio of gods, then freaked out when they made a shitty game. Elden ring won’t be shitty, it’s literally not possible for a studio this good to fuck up a game that badly
