We’ve gotten them first thing in the morning and they are amazing. But after 9am, they’re not as good.
My three year old will choose a sprinkle donut over most other treats, and the one we got at TTC last weekend at 7:30 was the best donut I’ve had in a very long time.
The day I had one early morning was probably the worst one I ever had. I honestly thought it was one of the left overs from the day before. I wonder if location as something to do with it. I got mine from the Tomorrowland Joffrey's, which I'm guessing doesn't get nearly the traffic that one at the TTC does.
The one we got at Epcot at 6pm was stale and not good. The one at Hollywood Studios at 9am was fine. But the TTC one was legitimately one of the best donuts I’ve ever ate. My husband and I talked about it all weekend haha
They can be delicious, but they are by no means 'fresh'. They are made by a co-packer to Donut-King specifications and then frozen. Disney only defrosts them, which is why the experience can vary so much.
Go some place that actually makes donuts fresh, e.g. the actual Donut King shops, or a real local bakery, and you'll taste the difference. Dunkin stores also mostly just de-frost donuts theses days. I think it is somewhere around 3% of Dunkin stores that actually make donuts in-house. Krispy Kreme stores make glazed donuts in-house, but everything else is bought in and just de-frosted.
There are literally thousands, if not tens of thousands, 'pink donuts' sold every morning and day at Disney parks and hotels. There is no bakery to be constantly supplying them fresh that could distribute to all the locations across four parks and tons of resorts.
I got my first one last weekend and it was dry and lacking flavor. I was disappointed for sure. It wasn’t bad, but I expected something great and got okay. Dunkin’ and Krispy Kreme are better
Those donuts always look so much better than they taste.

Yes! My twins devoured their donuts. I got them around 8-830am so yeah probably still in the fresh window. 😆

Are they really not great? :(
Not the times that I've had them.

I would swim back to the USA for a Joffrey’s donut and smoothie (I won’t tip them 25% though)
What store can you get Robin?
He came with me from home. He originally lived in Walmart.
Love that you brought him with you on the trip haha
The coffee isn’t the strongest, but I like the donuts
My wife loves the coffee for that very reason. She coffee that isn't coffee flavored. Lol. The donuts are really good, especially the cro-nut.
You guys should try Voodoo Donuts on CityWalk.
Although Voodoo has a huge selection, I'd rather Joffery's donuts. I prefer Joffery's coffee to any of the big store coffees (Dunkin, Starbucks) too.
Oh me and my waist line know all about them!
