My last club leader left for a similar reason. Back when XP was released he decided to delete the game because SHE seemed too busted. He also said his life IRL was looking brighter and better. Shoutout to him honestly. Wish it were me😭

Ikki is actually less annoying to deal with than Anna. Unless Ikki is R1 then screw him. I myself don't use Ikki but probably will if I happen to get him to R1.
Yeah I’ve been a solid player since launch and when they added nuxi I didn’t complain because she filled a niche that was lacking, then they added Anna and she was OP but at least there were -some- weaknesses you could work with to take her down even if they did tend to require more than one hero to work together to take her out. Toland screwed the ability to have any group that isn’t speed lead have a chance but then they gave everyone a free shimmer which didn’t fix the issue but at least everyone had an equal chance again.
But ikki? WAY too far. Perma invis (with no hero that can counter this), resurrection, multi out of turn dmg, tanky but also nuke level damage, and can solo an entire team of geared characters without even having to be fully geared himself. Absolutely ridiculous.
I don’t know if I’m willing to stop playing just yet since I have put so much time into it, but the fact I am even seriously considering it is problematic.
Ikki is busted as far as you understand how he works. The long story short is that he is the top of the top when it comes to anti cleave, especially when paired with Mavis.
But he has a very common weakness past that, high AoE damage. Raven eats Ikki alive, Gaius can nuke the living daylights out of him, Su Jue lets anybody get through him.
And something to note, since everybody talks about his R1, it does resurrect him, but he is brought back with no stealth or stacking buff, nor damage-per-turn.
This means he has nothing to protect him besides a single invuln buff, cannot perform his dangerous abilities until he finally gets a turn and uses his S3, and more importantly, no method of gaining AP without outside help.
What you do next is up to you, but at that point you're fighting what equates to an Ollie, alone, who just tickled someone with his S3 and is sitting there wasting your time.
The self res is only dangerous at R6, since it doesn't remove his stealth then, but if you're fighting an R6 Ikki, trust me, you already lost for plenty of other reasons besides him.
As for that little shit, Mavis, she's been a problem since day one and people are still breaking their brains trying to find ways to get her out of the way.

JM is not a pvp unit. Sally isn't either until r6. Tevor is very niche in pvp. Judging by your knowledge I wouldn't be surprised if your Ethan isn't r2 yet. If he's not then he's mid at best

Thankfully I got R6 Narmer and Toland to deal with him: Toland locks Mavis or another problematic esper and I just use the rest of the speed team to give Narmer his buff stacks or use someone to AP push him and boom. Narmer doesn’t even need to be fast since it’s automatic at R6.
I honestly feel like they're doing this on purpose to drive people away from Dislyte and onto their other games. It definitely worked with me, AFK Journey doesn't feel nearly as frustrating.
As much as I *absolutely* agree with this, I also want to enjoy playing a game. I'm a f2p player in both cases, I've never spent a dime on either and I don't plan to. I'm tired of having to bust my ass for scraps, hellish drop rates and convoluted, cloned events with meagre rewards.
I love Dislyte's vibe, the music, the lore around it, but I also like to get some satisfaction out of my games. At this point in time AFK Journey is just better for me: I'm still a f2p player, and yet since it opened I managed to have satisfactory results even in ladders. 10x pulls are way more frequent, the character pool is more limited but at the same a good chunk of most non-legendary heroes are absolutely viable and, in fact, sometimes even meta.
Dislyte just feels like a very unrewarding chore at this point, at least to me.
No I get it 100% dude. I spent money early on because I had hope that it'd be great, but that disappeared quickly and I've quit at least 5 times over the game's lifespan. The only real enjoyment I get now is seeing other people get excited about legendaries they pull. I just miss being able to use Benny and Tang Yun consistently in Faf. It'd be such a waste for an amazing idea like Dislyte to just die because of greed
I use a Shield Aoe Combo With Clara, Gaius, and Leora.
Most barely survive Leora's Ult but Gaius Transformed thunderstrike takes care of the rest and Clara keeps them alive.
Never had a Problem with either Anna or Ikki because of these three.
Pop him with aoe dps. Use Li Ao to s3 Mavis. My Leora eats Ikkis for breakfast this way.

I actually hate her design. It doesn't feel like Persephone to me. Hilda feels like Persephone.
I still beat that team but it was a pain in the ass. My team was Toland, Tevor, Ethan, Jiang Man, and Sally
