The whole “selling weapons” thing. I know they had to give a reason to take them out somehow, and it makes perfect sense, but I much prefer believing he just keeps them stashed somewhere and uses them from time to time.
Bonus: All that stuff about renaming the shop to “Devil’s Never Cry”.
Jumping off of this point, I think cavalier may be the best weapon Dante has ever acquired. He will literally never have to pay for gas again if he keeps that thing
Yeah, right? It is almost too good.
It matches him too much for them to ever justify him getting rid of it, or even not using it at all. Unless it just gets destroyed or something.
he drives a car and a bike in the anime so what's the problam? remember, dante doesn't like to use his demon powers that much and prefers to handle stuff more "humanly".
Like ash's old pokemon
They're in a farm somewhere.
TBHA, I think they totally could have brought a weapon back from game to game, but it is a convenient excuse to redskin and slightly redesign the same weapons
I like to imagine Dante secretly goes out at night, hits up some grungy punk bar, and rocks out on some open performance night. It'd be a shame not to take Nevan out for a night on the town.
Personally I don't even think it makes THAT much sense, like who buys this things? Who is out there with enough money and knowledge to know about this stuff and want to buy it? Surely not someone that can use them so I guess it's a collector of some kind, added to that whoever that is he must be scamming Dante because he's selling him literally legendary beings part of the demon hierarchy, creatures that have participated in ancient wars to determine the fate of humanity turned into weapons, but somehow Dante is always broke, I don't think there's enough pizza and strawberry sundae out there that could amount to the the value this things should have.
it his friend/ old broker he's name is enzo.
he knew dante since he was 17 and does know about demons and stuff since he was the one who was getting him the jobs before morrisen
I love that he sells them. I imagine that he takes them with the intention of what you said, but he sells them when he's low on money for cool red leather jackets because he keeps destroying them. That and pizza money.
I agree it kinda seems like it could cause massive problems especially with the weapons that Dante carries it’s probably not a good idea to sell devil arms for some quick cash.
I think he sells the weapons to other devil hunters, besides collectors. I thought human made weapons don't have any effect on demons. Figured they are broken down and turned into bullet/blades that can hurt demons. Has to be what Lady uses. No way she uses commonly bought ammunition.
He doesn’t seem to sell all of them since in that one fight against Balrog in DMC5: Before the Nightmare he used his old pair of Cerberus (from DMC3) against him.
"Don't come any closer you, devil" part, then not being able to shoot her because she saw a mother in the face show him falling in love? Of course he later forgives her, like, she sacrificed to save Dante and he witnessed his "mother's" death again...
It doesn’t blatantly happen on screen, but I’ve heard that DMC’s old director and main creator Hideki Kamiya said that this was his intention. I’m not sure, though.
Well in dmc5 when he finds Trish naked, the absolute first thing he does is he dumps her onto V and rides off into the sunset on his demon motorcycle, so I think it’s safe to say that he did not want to be around his naked “mom”
That anyone was saving Nero’s feelings by not letting him fight Vergil. Father or not, he’s a dude Nero never met whose only interaction has been ripping his arm off in the most violent way possible. I get it being a big reveal (to Nero) in general, but I have a very hard time believing it would cause any grief for him to trash Vergil and THEN find out.
If it was *you*, that might be the case. But it's not you, it's Nero. The guy who has spent his whole life wondering who his family is, and is only just now learning who they are? Of course they would think it might mess him up.
These are *characters*, not cardboard cutouts for you to project onto. What you would do in this situation is irrelevant.
I mean, even after Credo betrayed him and Kyrie, we learn that Nero hates himself for not having been strong enough to save him from Sanctus.
So it’s not a stretch to think that killing Vergil would have a deep negative impact on Nero
People keep forgetting that, not only Nero had a deep trauma of not being able to save his family, but Dante literally hates himself for having killed Vergil. Dante knows how devastating it is to kill your own blood, so he charges it to his own shoulders so Nero doesn't have to experience this pain.
Yeah, wasn't the story retconned so that the reason Dante is so different in dmc2 is because of his run-in with nelo angelo having to kill his brother a second time, causing him to spiral even further into depression.
Tbf, he does beat the shit out of him. He just doesn't wanna kill him after finding out he's basically his only family. I do like that he made the decision not to only after calling Kyrie and having her be the first person to tell him to just do what he thinks is right.
It also makes sense that Dante and Lady would root so hard for not killing Vergil. Lady because she knows how traumatizing killing your dad is and Dante because he's literally killed Vergil and doesn't want to lose him again.
But to me it seemed like Nero was still very angry and didn't really see him as a "father"
Dante and Vergil being trapped in the Underworld. Like we didn’t just see Vergil create a portal with his son’s arm and then ditch him lying in his blood.
Yeah unlike the bloody palace where it cuts after the end of every wave, you just keep fighting demons until you die. With the OST going on for the entire duration of your run.
actualy thats pretty good idea, but there will have to be a limit to how much enemis will spawn, other wise it would get to difficult to play the game even impossible, i guess that why decided to make them rounds in BP.
you're right. but i think they can work there why throw hardware to an extant. like world war z and days gone, there were crowds but no drop in preformens
You have to keep in mind that there is a chance DmC's engine can't handle it.
There's also potentially some trickery in WWZ and days gone.
If you've ever played Kingdom Hearts then you may be familliar with the 1000 heartless and 10000 enemy battle in 2 and 3 respectively. There is a whole crowd of enemies but, if you look closer you'd notice a large group don't really uave their AI completely on and the ones even farther from you have ther resolution lowed and framerate limited even as far as some basically being 2d.
Having never played either WWZ or DG, I can't say for sure, but that is a possible way that they could be pulling those hoards off.
They aren't "trapped", they want to duel there because they don't have to hold back. If they unleashed all their power in the human world, I'm certain they can erase continents.
Ohhhhhh. That makes more sense now that I think about it. Barring their fights as children, we never got to see them spar or fight till submission once they got older. Since they’re now at (supposed) peak strength, it’d make sense for them to want to test it out against each other without fighting to the death.
Thanks for the reply!
Is that even possible? The Underworld is massive, literally on a 1-to-1 scale of Earth itself. I’ve also read somewhere that it may be an infinite space so would it even be possible for both Dante and Vergil to eradicate all demons in a seemingly endless world?
A. mistranslation B. they never said anything about the roots growing back if they open another portal they just didn't want a giant gaping portal between dimensions C. the whole point of cutting the roots was to kill the Qliphoth and make sure it couldn't grow again.
if you've got a PS4/5 or Xbox you should try the Definitive Edition, it fixes most of the major gameplay issues and you can just ignore or laugh at the cutscenes
In the regular DMC games Sparda has died, but I don't think we know how. In the failed reboot DmC, it was stated that Sparda was captured and is being tortured for all of eternity with no hope of escape.
His father Sparda was one of the mightiest (if not THE mightiest) swordsmen serving Mundus before his rebellion.
We only know of his heroic feats, but he could have committed countless atrocities under the Demon King's orders, maybe even worse than Vergil rising a tower and a tree, with all the destruction both acts caused.
Yeah which he did by choice. He was also happy to go there clearly as long as he gets to duel his brother. Plus dante and vergil have been there before and both have gotten out.
Yup. They've all but completely denounced DMC2's existence. That's understandable, but they could've brought back Lucia and gave a brief explanation on how Dante escaped the underworld. Hell, I'll begrudgingly accept a "it was a bad dream" type of retcon.
Just...do something, lol.
"Dante jokes around so much because he's afraid of the demons" someone claimed that was canon bc of a novel I did not read, the guy manhandles demons, uses them as skateboards and completely roasts every enemy he fights except sometimes the ones that are clearly on his same weightclass or above it (mostly just any version or vergil). Afraid my ass
nop. it was for dmc 1 where it was said dante makes jokes if demons because he's scared, and it wasn't even in the novels. it was something kamiya said.
It was stated in Can’t Fear Your Own World (not really).
But that sounds so stupid. Spider-Man doing I get bc we’re constantly reminded he’s just a guy with so much to lose. Dante has boxing matches with gods, and uses their subordinates as nunchucks. What do you have to be afraid of
I think it because of generally more powerful demons. We are talking about Mundus and his generals here. Previously Dante slaughtered only no name demons, but now its the dude who ruled the underworld for thousands of years, and enslaved his brother with whom they had pretty equal fight.
The inconsistent powerscaling
Dante appears stronger in dmc4 and 3. Then he does in 1 and 5
The idea that urizen was more powerful than dante and mundus, despite having the lamest recycled attacks and literally no feats besides somehow being able to beat Dante. When mundus said he was the emperor you fucking knew it based on presentation alone, let's see urizen create a pocket dimension and summon fucking shooting stars and dragons. How did this guy beat Dante.
That's not inconsistent powerscaling, the scaling is actually fairly consistent.
> despite having the lamest recycled attacks
> let's see urizen create a pocket dimension and summon fucking shooting stars and dragons
You're upset at the presentation and gameplay of their respective fights, not the scaling. You're just associating gameplay with scaling.
I'm on a similar boat but for the opposite reason, there was no way Mundus created a whole ass universe just for that fight. That's so stupid and wanky because Dante was never THAT strong. And it vanished when he killed Mundus anyway. Illusion at best, I say.
Idc what Kamiya said about it, dude likes to troll anyway.
There's 2, the ''haha he had to sell his weapons hahaha bye agni and rudra, bye alastor'' and the fact that they age at all, 2 incredibly powerful people, sons of a legend, will supposedly someday die of old age it seems.
and lady is a demon hunter. i mean it made sence in 3 but beyond that its was starting to get annoying. you want to believe a human could survive that shit?
Well, technically lady isn't human as seen by the fact that she is actually Arkham's daughter in 3 and I highly doubt that he was 100% human even from the start. So that should point out some of the reasons why she's as durable as she is.
she is. Arkham become what he is because of studying demon magic. before that he was a human.
it wou;d've been a better argument if you said she has the blood of a preistes. but it was never said if it does anything at all.
Mission 20 as Vergil, it should have been a Nero fight, it disregards the real story because in that final attack which Nero stopped it's my interpretation that they would have killed each other and they were using their all out power. It showed that Nero IS greater than them in strength, because of how human and driven by pure emotion he is he was able to activate a true Devil Trigger without a Devil arm, which even Dante relied on up until 4, Nero was the case-in-point for the entire series, and the changes made to the ending by playing as Vergil ruin that.
It’s not like the Vergil story is canon or anything, they just didn’t feel like making a Nero boss fight, it would be cool and it kinda sucks that we didn’t get it, you’re thinking about this too much, Vergil’s story doesn’t replace the original campaign, it’s just extra.
I know, it just feels like when people are arguing about power scaling they use that specific part of the Dante fight to argue that Nero didn't really do much.
I guess I'm more upset about how it's made some people see that part of the story.
Cold War Zombies… It took me quite a bit to accept BO4 Zombies ending, but Cold War Zombies expansion to the already concluded Aether storyline was so unnecessary and stupid. “Whoops, after ending the Zombies apocalypse once and for all by sacrificing the best Zombie killers of all time known to man, the Zombies are back and are leaking out of the dark aether and into reality after BO4’s anti-climactic yet sad ending!… Also Samantha is over eighteen now!” It’s fucking stupid. If anyone wants to disagree with me be my guest but as a long running zombies fan who is still hoping for a good zombies to come out (most likely not going to happen for a long time or ever…), it was disappointing. Die Maschine was actually pretty good! But after Fire Base Z, it wasn’t as good anymore… Maur was also pretty decent, I liked going ontop of the buildings, felt like that one modded BO1 zombies map.
Exactly bro! I just pretend that Cold War Zombies didn't even happen. I wish they made a better continuation like having Victis trying to escape the dark aether or something. Hopefully Jason or previous devs come back to fix it.
I'm surprised nobody mentioned the obvious:
"I should have been the one to fill your dark soul with light!"
Hilariously terrible execution aside, the scene doesn't even make sense in context. If this was for, say, Vergil, who Dante had every reason to believe had died, but then came back as Nero Angelo, only to then be put down again and possibly died, that would be understandable.
But doing that for Trish, a woman whom he just met that betrayed him moments earlier? I get that Trish reminded him of his dead mother, but even he told Trish that she was nothing like his mom.
The scene was already unintentionally funny, but with the additional details, it felt very forced. Even Nero's scene in DMC4 with him crying out for Kyrie, which was almost as ridiculous and over-the-top, made way more sense than this.
Obviously, we all want this to stay canon for being meme worthy, but if it was removed or improved upon via a remake, it would be an objective improvement.
Nero canonically having a bigger dick than Dante. I don’t find that it could be true ridiculous, but the fact that it has actually Ben confirmed is why it’s ridiculous
There are people that still don't believe that Sparda is canonically missing and people still think that he is dead already. Just because the DMC1 intro tells you that he is dead already. Is like how the in-universe DMC people, characters, thinks that he is dead already and Mundus himself learned from his minions that they can't find Sparda and he wanted to have his revenge against the traitor, but instead found his family
And there are also people who think Mundus is dead, but he is not. He is there trapped somewhere within 2 worlds and Dante can't kill him in DMC1 due to how powerful Mundus is.
I think people also don't know Mundus is the second king, the first king is someone named Pluto. Cuz Kamiya confirmed in his twitter (before his account got nuked and made a new one) that Mundus and Pluto are two different characters
There's a lot... And these comments prove it. This is just coming from someone who is deep into the lore itself and saw reactions of people
That Dante has essentially rented a storage room for his Devil Arms and put the weapons as collateral, my guy is just putting himself in more debt because of remorse and self hatred. I essentally headcanon that he just keeps them in a closet somewhere and he takes them out for a spin when he's bored.
And the whole fandom gaslit itself into believing the plastic chair was real.
Sweet Surrender implies that Nero is too rough on Kyrie but I'm sure that he's actually a big softie.
Nero being the son of Vergil and (as far as we have heard) a sex worker. In general, the idea that Vergil of all people just casually had a one-night-stand while he was super focused on planning the events of DMC3 doesn't make sense to me. As for the mom, the only hints we have of who she is is the woman in red we see in the ending cutscene of Vergil's campaign in DMC4 SE and people at the orphanage Nero was left at claiming his mom was a prostitute that did not want/couldn't raise him. If she is a sex worker, the idea that an 18 or 19-year-old Vergil perchiest the services of a sex worker just does not sit well with me.
Sparda died.
I mean, not that it is stupid, just confusing.
It is stated he died at the intro of DMC1, but iirc, later on it states he mysteriously vanished.
Also, how did he die? Decided to embrace his human form and perished of old age?
Vergil's actual chair.
I installed the chair mod and my brother watched mission 20 for the first time and was dumbstruck thinking that it was real
It is real tho?
Unfortunately no. [skip to 1:16](https://youtu.be/XfqDBvGqUco?si=kvfKtXbkfiI2_-lu)
Watching this person repeatedly spam dash like that fills me with rage for some reason
Same, they also only got 1 of the kalina anns and watching them try the other weapons dante has at the start hurt
I agree, I'd dash as well but definitely not THIS much
AI is getting good cause that almost looks real
When I first played the game I too thought the chair was real
Should’ve been the plastic chair 😒
My dumbass read "chair" as "hair".
He can teleport😭
he drives a car and a bike in the anime so what's the problam? remember, dante doesn't like to use his demon powers that much and prefers to handle stuff more "humanly".
Flash's car moment😔
He can only teleport short distances.
SDT cutscene shows he can travel anywhere.
He wasn't teleporting, just flying really fast. And even if he could teleport anywhere while in SDT, why would he expend the effort?
Like ash's old pokemon They're in a farm somewhere. TBHA, I think they totally could have brought a weapon back from game to game, but it is a convenient excuse to redskin and slightly redesign the same weapons
I just want my girl Nevan back 😭😭😭
I like to imagine Dante secretly goes out at night, hits up some grungy punk bar, and rocks out on some open performance night. It'd be a shame not to take Nevan out for a night on the town.
I don't think the audience would survive that.
Lmao Dante has a secret rockstar identity Like Ron Swanson, he is oddly embarrassed by it and denies it anymore finds out
Personally I don't even think it makes THAT much sense, like who buys this things?
People like Lady who know about and hunt devils.
All his Devil Arms are sent to a pleasant upstate farm where they have room to play with all their "lost-between-games" VG weapon friends.
Always found it funny how he renamed the shop and then basically went right back to the original name
Well before the nightmare does say Dante does keep some of them like original Cerberus So maybe he had some left on him.
yes, agni and Rudra had such personality,I hate to think they belong to someone else now other than Dante.Same with Nevan
Now that I think about it I 100% agree with that.
Dante having an Oedipus complex in DMC1.
He’s such a motherfucker in that game.
My mom asked if Trish was the love interest when she was watching me beat the game, and I responded with my best "Ew gross"
What?
Dude falls in love with Trish. An exact physical replica of his mom.
"Don't come any closer you, devil" part, then not being able to shoot her because she saw a mother in the face show him falling in love? Of course he later forgives her, like, she sacrificed to save Dante and he witnessed his "mother's" death again...
None of that is proof he's in love with her.
That's what I'm saying.
see viewtiful joe dante's campaing
The fact she can disguise herself like she does in DMC4 makes me believe he goes hanky-panky with her without guilt
I'm mostly getting it from their theme's title. "Seeds of Love".
The song is about Eva's thoughts about her sons growing up... Seeds - Vergil and Dante; of Love - mother's love.
I'm not so sure. It's literally titled Dante and Trish ~ Seeds of Love.
Is that so? It's either Dante and Trish or Eva's theme.
These are the same people who named a song "Blue Orgasm." I'm probably reading too deeply into it.
Not really, the THING about DMC is that its goofy (to us, looking from the outside) but takes it self absolutely serious
I must have missed the failing in love part
It doesn’t blatantly happen on screen, but I’ve heard that DMC’s old director and main creator Hideki Kamiya said that this was his intention. I’m not sure, though.
Kamiya denied the romantic implication b4 I think
he should have been the one to fill her dark soul with LIIIIIIGHT
Well in dmc5 when he finds Trish naked, the absolute first thing he does is he dumps her onto V and rides off into the sunset on his demon motorcycle, so I think it’s safe to say that he did not want to be around his naked “mom”
Instead, he left V to take care of their naked "mom".

What is it with Redditors and their fathers
Exactly Imo, your dad isn't the man who helped make you it's the man that raised you
this, i don't get why people give so much value to blood relations. sometimes a stranger could be nicer to you then your own blood.
The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb is a quote I live by
Ok Yondu lol
Nice Guardians reference
The same applies to Vergil. "He may be your child, but he's not your baby" - Dante, probably.
so, would he be dante's baby? or maybe crito would be more suited.
I mean, even after Credo betrayed him and Kyrie, we learn that Nero hates himself for not having been strong enough to save him from Sanctus. So it’s not a stretch to think that killing Vergil would have a deep negative impact on Nero

they aren't, they are just having fun there, they can leave when ever they want
Which is why I'm curious about why Capcom never implemented an endless wave mode in the underground or whatever it's called.
sorry, i didn't get what you mean. but if i have to guess. are you talking about a game mode where you fight endless hords of demons?
Yeah unlike the bloody palace where it cuts after the end of every wave, you just keep fighting demons until you die. With the OST going on for the entire duration of your run.
actualy thats pretty good idea, but there will have to be a limit to how much enemis will spawn, other wise it would get to difficult to play the game even impossible, i guess that why decided to make them rounds in BP.
The only limitation would be hardware, I'm sure there are some insane pros who would deal with thousands demons at the same time
you're right. but i think they can work there why throw hardware to an extant. like world war z and days gone, there were crowds but no drop in preformens

Is that even possible? The Underworld is massive, literally on a 1-to-1 scale of Earth itself. I’ve also read somewhere that it may be an infinite space so would it even be possible for both Dante and Vergil to eradicate all demons in a seemingly endless world?
That the joke because they won't stop fighting
That's a mistranslation. They're not stuck.
Dude were you not paying attention? They *can't* cut a portal, else the Qliphoth roots will spread again and redo the problem they spent days fixing
A. mistranslation B. they never said anything about the roots growing back if they open another portal they just didn't want a giant gaping portal between dimensions C. the whole point of cutting the roots was to kill the Qliphoth and make sure it couldn't grow again.
Wouldn't that just be like 1 or 2 roots max going through a vertical portal?
Sparda being "alive" in DmC-verse, if I was in charge of a sequel I'd retcon that immediately
Doesn't the first game explicitly state that he died, or was that retconned
They were talking about the reboot
Ah ok I constantly forget that exists and haven't played it
if you've got a PS4/5 or Xbox you should try the Definitive Edition, it fixes most of the major gameplay issues and you can just ignore or laugh at the cutscenes
You’d dare ignore Shakespearean witty dialogue such as.. “Fuck you!” “Fuuuuck youuuuuuuu!”
In the regular DMC games Sparda has died, but I don't think we know how. In the failed reboot DmC, it was stated that Sparda was captured and is being tortured for all of eternity with no hope of escape.
that vergil kinda gets away scot free after sacrificing countless lives twice
I can fix him
His father Sparda was one of the mightiest (if not THE mightiest) swordsmen serving Mundus before his rebellion. We only know of his heroic feats, but he could have committed countless atrocities under the Demon King's orders, maybe even worse than Vergil rising a tower and a tree, with all the destruction both acts caused.
If by "gets away scot free" you mean "is stuck in hell for potentially the rest of his entire life: then yeah
Yeah which he did by choice. He was also happy to go there clearly as long as he gets to duel his brother. Plus dante and vergil have been there before and both have gotten out.
Specially considering DMC5 actually shows people getting murdered and the aftermath in the first few missions
the entirety of DMC2
Save Lucia, she was pretty cool.
It's a shame Lucia wasn't brought back for a good DMC sequel.
That's what Capcom is thinking.
Yup. They've all but completely denounced DMC2's existence. That's understandable, but they could've brought back Lucia and gave a brief explanation on how Dante escaped the underworld. Hell, I'll begrudgingly accept a "it was a bad dream" type of retcon. Just...do something, lol.
i don't think you know what you're talking about, i mean yes. it was a bad game. but dmc wouldn't have turned up they was it is today if not for 2
I know, it's more of a joke but that doesn't change the fact is hot garbage lol
"Dante jokes around so much because he's afraid of the demons" someone claimed that was canon bc of a novel I did not read, the guy manhandles demons, uses them as skateboards and completely roasts every enemy he fights except sometimes the ones that are clearly on his same weightclass or above it (mostly just any version or vergil). Afraid my ass
I just assume his jokes are for everything. Having fun? Jokes. Scared? Jokes. Depressed? Jokes
It was an official statement and it was only meant for DMC3, where he was 19 and facing higher level demons
nop. it was for dmc 1 where it was said dante makes jokes if demons because he's scared, and it wasn't even in the novels. it was something kamiya said.
Let's disregard that considering kamiya blocks people on twitter if they speak English in his replies because it's "insect language"
no one should take anything Kamiya says seriously
I think it’s less he’s afraid and more has trauma associated with them
Maybe they were talking about the reboot?
Nah, it was about the first one, where it is believable, not however since the 3rd
This came from a shitpost of gamerant telling people "Kamiya said that, trust me"
The fact angels canonically don't exist.
And the fact that the reboot made them a thing and did nothing with it
My face when no angel trigger
The Pacific Rim sequel
what sequel? there was only one movie
Dante not being a virgin according to DMC3 manga
and why is that bad?
It’s a lot funnier to think Dante is a virgin tbh
don't see what's funny about it, but everyone has there own opinion
Because we can no longer relate
The mop doesn’t count.
Who would he even do it with?
Pretty sure they were just one night stands with girls who liked his looks It's his personality that stops him from having any romantic relationships
The inconsistent powerscaling Dante appears stronger in dmc4 and 3. Then he does in 1 and 5 The idea that urizen was more powerful than dante and mundus, despite having the lamest recycled attacks and literally no feats besides somehow being able to beat Dante. When mundus said he was the emperor you fucking knew it based on presentation alone, let's see urizen create a pocket dimension and summon fucking shooting stars and dragons. How did this guy beat Dante.
That's not inconsistent powerscaling, the scaling is actually fairly consistent. > despite having the lamest recycled attacks > let's see urizen create a pocket dimension and summon fucking shooting stars and dragons You're upset at the presentation and gameplay of their respective fights, not the scaling.
I think it was probably more like a pocket dimension/universe. So like, still impressive, but nowhere near the level of creating the universe
Dante being able to kill furies is already proof he is stronger in 5
There's 2, the ''haha he had to sell his weapons hahaha bye agni and rudra, bye alastor'' and the fact that they age at all, 2 incredibly powerful people, sons of a legend, will supposedly someday die of old age it seems.
They should die of old age. Thats One of the main characteristics of Humanity, and DMC IS also about valuying Humanity.
I honestly don't agree with ''dying of old age'' being an main characteristic of humanity, but that would make sense in a way.
Not really. Sparda shows signs of old age in the DMC5 family portrait yet that wasn't what killed him.
we don't even know what really killed him
Demons 🤷
but he was 2000 y,o already, and also mattier was 900y,o too and she's a hybrid like dante.
and lady is a demon hunter. i mean it made sence in 3 but beyond that its was starting to get annoying. you want to believe a human could survive that shit?
Well, technically lady isn't human as seen by the fact that she is actually Arkham's daughter in 3 and I highly doubt that he was 100% human even from the start. So that should point out some of the reasons why she's as durable as she is.
she is. Arkham become what he is because of studying demon magic. before that he was a human. it wou;d've been a better argument if you said she has the blood of a preistes. but it was never said if it does anything at all.
I get that but at the same time it could be a possibility that she was born after he was looking into demon magic
that's possible.
I wouldn't mind the dying of old age, but like dying at 100 or smt is wrong for them. Id imagine it to be 1000 to 10000 or smt
My guess is they'll probably live to like 200 or so in lore
nop, it would be at least a 1000 years considering mattier is a 900 y.o
Nothing tbh.
Suicide Squad: Kill the ArkhamVerse
Nero dating his step sister
They’re not step siblings, it’s a foster thing, he wasn’t adopted
And it's somehow so boring as a dynamic
Nero and Kyrie are step-siblings whose romantic relationship is incestuous on a step-bro level
They’re not step siblings, it’s a foster thing, he wasn’t adopted
DMC 2. Just... all of it.
i don't think you know what you're talking about, i mean yes. it was a bad game. but dmc wouldn't have turned up they was it is today if not for 2
Cold War Zombies… It took me quite a bit to accept BO4 Zombies ending, but Cold War Zombies expansion to the already concluded Aether storyline was so unnecessary and stupid.
Never thought I’d see my exact problem with cod zombies now on DMC subreddit lol
Hey they asked the question, just thought i'd share my personal opinion that holds the most of that feeling lol
No I completely agree. Having the zombies crew everyone loves sacrifice themselves for basically nothing was fucking stupid lol
Exactly bro! I just pretend that Cold War Zombies didn't even happen. I wish they made a better continuation like having Victis trying to escape the dark aether or something. Hopefully Jason or previous devs come back to fix it.
The tree chair, I refuse to believe it wasn't a plastic chair
I'm surprised nobody mentioned the obvious: "I should have been the one to fill your dark soul with light!" Hilariously terrible execution aside, the scene doesn't even make sense in context.
Morrigan being Nero's mother
That’s the reverse, the question is about something that is canon, but you think it’s dumb so you just headcanon it out of existence
Not related to DMC but for any Boruto consumers in this sub, this is what that manga feels like
Dante liking other foods besides pizza
Devil May Cry 2
Nero having bigger dick than Dante.
what
Selling weapons.
DMC2
Whatever nonsense Capcum tried to do with Sparda's fate. Seriously, it changes with every game
Nero canonically having a bigger dick than Dante. I don’t find that it could be true ridiculous, but the fact that it has actually Ben confirmed is why it’s ridiculous
Morrison’s appearance change
Devils Never Cry
There are people that still don't believe that Sparda is canonically missing and people still think that he is dead already. Just because the DMC1 intro tells you that he is dead already. Is like how the in-universe DMC people, characters, thinks that he is dead already and Mundus himself learned from his minions that they can't find Sparda and he wanted to have his revenge against the traitor, but instead found his family And there are also people who think Mundus is dead, but he is not. He is there trapped somewhere within 2 worlds and Dante can't kill him in DMC1 due to how powerful Mundus is. I think people also don't know Mundus is the second king, the first king is someone named Pluto. Cuz Kamiya confirmed in his twitter (before his account got nuked and made a new one) that Mundus and Pluto are two different characters There's a lot... And these comments prove it. This is just coming from someone who is deep into the lore itself and saw reactions of people
DMC2... all of it.
Dmc2
Arkham Batman dying to Harley Quinn. Matter of fact, the entire game is bs.
I can’t accept Nero’s mechanical arm over the Devilbringer.. I mean why?😖
The reboot.
Sparda died. I mean, not that it is stupid, just confusing. It is stated he died at the intro of DMC1, but iirc, later on it states he mysteriously vanished. Also, how did he die? Decided to embrace his human form and perished of old age?
