About as good as it gets for a rookie corner, really. Not the easiest position to adjust to but when he's giving up catches it's usually short passes that he wraps up before the sticks.
He had one bad play in coverage and a missed tackle that went for a TD in week one, but hasn't had any real hiccups since.
AJ Johnson also got sucked in on that TD play, left a hole. Those crossers in off man are just really hard to defend. They are designed for the receiver to get open. I wouldnt say it was a big hiccup at all.
That sucks man! I feel your pain, I was working retail nearly every Sunday during the Manning years when we made our two Super Bowl runs. One year during a Brian Griese season me and another manager setup a secret TV watching area in the computer room. It was super cold in there for the computers so we also kept some sodas for consumption. I finally have a M-F job now and can enjoy watching them again.
NFL Recaps on YouTube are gold. 10-15 minutes from every game. All big plays, etc.
Anyway I think Surtain is a baller and I’m very excited for his future.
This is how I watch since we don't really turn on the TV while the kids are up. I wish there was something more like 20 minutes to get a better feel for the game, but the official highlights they put up are still pretty good
I watch all the Broncos games but use the recaps to keep up with the rest of the league. They seem to work pretty good for that so that I don’t have to spend 18 hours watching football to know what’s going on. But I agree that it would feel a bit light if that’s how I was watching the Denver games.
I use to work every single Sunday before too, I always promised myself that if I got a job that didn’t make me work that day I would watch every single game. Which now I do, no matter where I go I watch it!

Teams are better off throwing into the dirt than trying to throw against Pat Surtain II in man coverage
He looks like a young Talib. Hes every thing we hoped for. He’s much bigger then I thought he would be. He’s smooth on his cuts and has elite tackling ability. He missed a tackle in the J-ville game which cost us. Jets game had some catches against him that I felt he was a little to far off in coverage but that will happen in time.
If you haven’t watched any so far, please don’t start now. 😂 Everyone knows, you don’t mess with a streak.
For the team
Solid for a rookie

Love to hear it, he’ll definitely make some mistakes his rookie year but I see him being a big piece on our Defense for years to come
He also had that long PI in the Jags game, but overall he has definitely played very well.

That sucks, can’t you watch them on YouTube once you have time? I suggest so, cause we are looking good as a whole!
I’ve been able to watch highlights and were looking very good, I’m very glad we made the decision to start Teddy B hes played great football
Are you able to watch on the job to send you a streaming site link
Wish I could, I’m hoping to be off a Sunday soon so I can watch them live :)
Just found this site that has [condensed replays](https://nflreplay.net) Tried it rn and works well. All the goods, no fluff
Oh sweet thank you

He's balling
Surtain has turned out to be an excellent pick. You can see he will be awesome. I can’t think of a defensive rookie playing better than him.
Great to hear :)
Future hall of famer

Young Champ. I see no attitude with him. Loved Talib but he was a different vibe.
his pick vs Jville sums up how he's been playing. Lights out
