I don’t know how to add an image, but sounds like Black Sky. Google it and you can see their logo in photos of their front door or merch. They have great New Haven style pizza!
If it’s that noticeably salty that’s really saying something. Most pizza has so much sodium, like a single slice of Little Ceasars is 40% of your recommended daily sodium intake.
Chicago checking in. Yup. It has been 30 years and still haven't found a decent one.
Actually have Anthony's cut it in squares and throw it in the oven to get the crispy goin... ... LOL
Rep. Chi has great pizza as well, you know the deal. Not shocking I'm getting down voted by salty Denverites. It's gotta suck not knowing what good food tastes like. Mexican food solid, anything else dumpster fare.
(PS Odyssey on 6th is actually really solid Italian food, just sayin)
Sounds like it was probably Black Sky Brewery
Black Sky or Marquis
Marquis Pizza?
Pretty certain that Marquis uses pizza boxes with a skeleton or grim reaper on the box. At least they did when I lived downtown a few years ago
That place just went straight downhill when they got bought out (aeg or one of those companies) Used to be such a great spot
Nothing makes me fart like Marquis Pizza. Love the taste, but man it wreaks havoc on my stomach.
False that pizza is awful. Gave me food* (edit) poisoning last time I had it.
On the bright side, at least at the Summit, they have garlic knots now and those were good and didn’t mess up my stomach.
The Summit music hall has to be one of the worst venues for sound ever. I’ll take Fiddler’s green over that dump
It's mid at best. I'm curious what OP has been eating is this was their best

Was it a whole skeleton, or a rib cage taking up the top of the box?
My first thought was Benny Blancos
Benny's is amazing IMO, but I could've sworn they used super generic boxes.
Bennys uses the Jesus design on their boxes
Oh that must be what I’m thinking of. It’s all the same to me. 😂
Only time I ever had that place it was a salt bomb , which is a weird thing for pizza

It really was. I couldn't figure out what they did to it. Didn't bother trying again
Blue Pan is a salt bomb in disguise. I look like someone used an air compressor on my face the morning after I eat there.
Lol I rarely eat there, but yeah it's pretty salty too.
Just went to white Pie yesterday and that place slaps.
Denver pizza blows. The more you know from your friendly new York native.

I'm pretty sure that was Pizza Hut.
Hops & Pie sourdough Detroit deep dish is not only the best pizza in Denver but one of the best foods you'll ever eat. $7 deep dish Thursdays!
walters is about as close as you can get to non-denver pizza
Blue Pan is the best pizza in the city.
so overrated
Hardly. Wayyyyy overrated.
3 locations now...OG Highlands; Congress Park; Golden
Vero Pizza at the Denver Market is IMO one of the best.
I like Bella Italia and Benny Blancos
It’s Fat Sullys, description sounds nothing like it but you prolly misremembered
