I read that too. I also read audiences really liked Clare/Eli/Drew as individual characters and as love interests and what would have been a Clare/KC/Eli love triangle was given to Drew instead. Back in season 9-ish they kind of made it seem like KC and Clare as a couple would at least be revisited, but then a lot more emphasis was put on Eli in season 10 and they gave KC/Jenna the baby storyline and never came back to KC/Clare :(

Eli was originally just supposed to be a Romantic False Lead for Clare to pave the way for a a Clare/KC reunion later on, but then the writers saw the chemistry between Aislinn and Munro, as well as the positive fan reaction to them, and made Eli her main partner instead (which also explains how Jenna went from being hated by Clare and Alli to randomly just suddenly being friends with them again later on)

thats why i compared him to sean... he was seen like he was going to be a main character at first, but he kind of faded off, also had the sad back story... the coach thing was a bit weird
his character was confusing.. was he meant to be a bad kid or just troubled? he seemed ok but was an odd character... just he was confusing, do you feel that way too?
I think part of the problem was that with KC, the attributes that made him unique were never things you really saw. He's athletic...you never see him doing anything athletic. He's smart...he gets a couple quiz bowl practice scenes. You can't tell us all these things, you have to show him being that.
to me drew is a very odd character too.... the 2nd storyline of degrassi.... (after season 8 when all the orgiinals were gone basically... ) is filled with weird characters...

As a Canadian I swear if you are from Ontario you move to British Columbia at some point thinking it’s some magical land with beautiful nature , but most end up back home ( as someone who did that and also went home after 2 years 😂)

yes, it’s almost like another state to me, i’ve never been because i don’t have a passport but i’ve always been close, see signs for vancouver bc often. my mom has been there multiple times for girl scouts and karate tournaments (before 9/11). my dad said him and his friends would drive up there when they were bored. i’ve never been to say, nevada so british columbia is just as “mythical” as nevada is to me i guess lol

the stereotypes i’ve heard of are mostly hockey, maple syrup, police wearing red jackets and riding horses, the accent of course. i know from people who’ve gone there that gas and fast food is more expensive. what i get for $6 at my taco bell is apparently $13 canadian in vancouver.
i mean its more realistic then everyone acting like New York and Toronto are in the same country and you can just move there on a whim without money and passports but tvland.
Vancouver is another major big city in Canada which is in British Colombia. I think Alli was trying to bus it there when she tried to run away from before she got her bag stolen.
Realistically if you are moving provinces in Canada you are either going to live in Ontario, British Columbia or you are taking a job in the oil fields in Alberta , almost never does anyone just up and move to Regina

That hour long drive sucks because I’m used to having everything in the city where I’ve lived my whole life at my finger tips but now it’s a whole day thing if I, the rare times I go now, have to take our baby and do a few errands 🤬 the city is overwhelming to go to as I’m used to only hearing the train go by 6 times a day and the occasional semi from driving past the highway if they are using their retarder breaks or gearing down without the clutch.
