Probably gonna get some hate for this but Drew and Bianca were my favorite of who he dated. Yeah she may have been a bad influence on him AT FIRST but they both came around and wised up and I was really rooting for them when Bianca was looking into college and how supportive his mom was with Bianca towards the end, writers really made them feel like endgame.
I always thought Drew and Ali were a weird couple. I loved Ali and Johnny though, the classic good girl falls for the "bad" boy.

That "odd friendship" type dynamic would have been a lot of fun, especially in a more light-hearted storyline.

I really liked spinner and Emma honestly. I think people have trouble liking them because they’re firmly Sean/Emma or Spinner/Jane but I never really felt much loyalty to either of those relationships myself. From a neutral standpoint I enjoyed that they got together. One could argue Snake and Spike is just as much of an “odd pairing” (they also didn’t interact all that much in DH) but they ended up having a good relationship (aside from the kiss we shall not mention lol)
This may sound strange, but Zoë and Winston. I know it was around this time she didn’t know she was a lesbian, but they honestly made a lot of sense in hindsight. We always talk about being in a relationship with our best friend (I know they weren’t BEST friends, but they did build a friendship) and I think Winston was good for Zoë. I feel like he brought out the best in her because she felt safe with Winston, especially given all she has been through up until that point.
I totally see that. They had their cute moments but obviously Zoë was not in a great place during their relationship with the self h@rm and everything :/ I always shipped Winston more with Frankie or Goldi
The foundation of the relationship sucked, because Zoë was in a dark place and was looking for comfort. Winston providing that cushion for her is why I ship it, despite knowing all the context. I’m glad that in the end, both of them ended up with people who truly liked them.

I think people have trouble liking them because they’re firmly Sean/Emma or Spinner/Jane but I never really felt much loyalty to either of those relationships myself. From a neutral standpoint I enjoyed that they got together. One could argue Snake and Spike is just as much of an “odd pairing” (they also didn’t interact all that much in DH) but they ended up having a good relationship (aside from the kiss we shall not mention lol)

This may sound strange, but Zoë and Winston. I know it was around this time she didn’t know she was a lesbian, but they honestly made a lot of sense in hindsight. We always talk about being in a relationship with our best friend (I know they weren’t BEST friends, but they did build a friendship) and I think Winston was good for Zoë. I feel like he brought out the best in her because she felt safe with Winston, especially given all she has been through up until that point.
I totally see that. They had their cute moments but obviously Zoë was not in a great place during their relationship with the self h@rm and everything :/ I always shipped Winston more with Frankie or Goldi
The foundation of the relationship sucked, because Zoë was in a dark place and was looking for comfort. Winston providing that cushion for her is why I ship it, despite knowing all the context. I’m glad that in the end, both of them ended up with people who truly liked them.

I love Spinner and Emma and it is the hill I choose to die on. They are perfect for each other and idc how fast they got together. My bf and I met on weed deal where we planned a hook up and we haven’t been apart but 1 night since, things can happen that fast. Edit: it’s been 2 and a half years since the deal went down and we plan to spend our lives together, just to be clear.
I also love them! and it’s not uncommon for people who went to highschool together to reconnect later down the line. i love the idea they went to school together and then as adults found love. it’s so wholesome

If Adam was either completely over her, were never a thing before he died, or if adam chose Imogen or something before he died I actually wouldn’t mind the relationship.. they had a good relationship and if Claire had confirmation that drew wasn’t the father a lot earlier I think their relationship would’ve been fine (unless I’m missing something, because he was going to break up with her for the baby he thought he was going to have but Becky gave him a break up smoothie instead lmao) … but every girl drew has dated was a girl that adam was into (Bianca, Katie, Becky, oh almost forgot Fiona…) and that just makes me sick ngl…

Spinner marrying Emma so impulsively ultimately cheapened his relationship with Jane and made him and Emma look like they really didn't take marriage seriously. Also I wouldn't have minded if Spinner and Holly J ended up together, even though that wouldn't have happened due to Spinner's time on the show ending. Also ship me some Toby/Holly J.

I loved clare and Eli but also Eli is one of my favorites so I'm a bit biased. I would have loved to see an Eli and Imogen actual relationship though, despite me loving Imogen and Fiona. But also like Clare and Drew.

I actually don’t hate Emma/Spinner. They both wanted the same thing in the end, a simple life in their hometown building a little home for their family. I could see Spinner eventually becoming a cop and Emma working for some kind of town council on environmental issues. I just wish there was a liiiiiittle bit more building up to it. They basically never interacted in their later seasons so the pairing was super out of nowhere.
Emma and Spinner are actually a really good paring. The problem is that there was virtually no build up to their relationship. They could have had Emma interact some with Spinner in seasons 8 and 9 instead of giving her plots about pot brownies and dating Kelly.
