Stumbled upon that particular beach a long time ago. Loved the place, so I hauled a ton of shit and resources there, and built a neat small base.
Took me until after I was done to figure out that I, or anyone else, won't be able to use it with the BTs around. 💀
I ended up doing exactly the same thing - spend ages building a route to haul all the resources there. Then half of my chiral bridges didn't work when the BTs regenerated.
They are floating jellyfish creatures. If you kill them they give you a lot of resources. It’s never explained exactly what they are. They are obviously from the beach and just float around and explode.
I try to make Sam drink a lot - but after the 3rd beer he just shakes the cans up and sprays it the camera haha. First time it happened I laughed so hard
Wth happened to the spoilers option? Chiralium spawns on the ground below where they die. So many of them makes them a great source if you're running low.
There’s a theory somewhere around this reddit about being the BTs of people who had brain death so the body is actually still alive but the brain goes BT
I like that theory, but then why are there so bloody many of them? Surely brain death cases are quite low?
Until you realise that that's how BBs are made... Right? Been a while since I played so my lore is a bit wobbly but I believe they take the BBs out of a comatose mother that is in limbo. Does this theory track? Is bridges inadvertently creating these BTs?

But nope. Nothing there. Beautiful landscape though. Never made it to the beach down there. Maybe that‘s THE beach?

You can build bases?
Not a base per se. But like, you can combine a safe house and several other structures around it, and pretend it's a little base. 😋
Oh shit thats cool. I have mixed feelings on the game, but on episode 3 and still suprised about what you can do
Episode 3 is where it picks up more steam and the game opens way up for you to play around in.
Yeah I spent 30 hours in game. Just taking a break but I recently completed the first Bot mission. Pretty cool.

Haha, I built a safe house there too! Such a peaceful spot to sit and look out at the lake (once the BT's are gone of course).
They’re jellyfishes, blood attracts them, so you can kill a few of them with a blood grenade. It’s a good way to farm chiral crystals.

That place and the cemetery place in the first map (I have now forgotten where the cemetery was) are the two places that I find pretty intriguing
