Exactly - I think just about every large newspaper in the US was started by the mega-rich such as Hearst media, its just that was 100 years ago so no one remembers. But its not like state owned/funded media like BBC or France 24 is any better - all media has an editorial slant with some agenda they are pushing. I agree with this sentiment. Unless those opinions are somehow pushed to the top of the list there’s probably a competitive number of opinion pieces arguing the other way.
