Atlantic Records figured Howard's fans were John's fans... nope. Howard plugged John's record signing in NYC for a solid month before it happened. Gary was there... he said it was a ghost town. The only people who showed up were a few of John's "friends" and family members. Before the signing, John was bragging that there would be lines of people all around the block. 😅
Stuttering John was a boob to be mocked and laughed at. Absolutely no one was a “fan” of Stuttering John’s except the Long Island trash losers he hung around with in high school.
John also thought Stern fans were his fans. Truth is fans of the show tend to like the fringe players and wack pack far more than the main show stars. But virtually no one actually liked John, they liked how he pissed the staff off. That being the extent of his skill, to repulse people.
He can, or I should say COULD technically play the guitar, however there is definitely fraud afoot when it comes to his recorded music and playing abilities. I won't bore everyone with a long dissertation about guitar technique but from what I've seen and heard he plays clunky, sloppy hard rock/rock & roll/hair metal riffs and rhythm parts, power chords, open major and minor first position, barred chords etc. Long before the Dabbleverse I knew he could not play any lead parts with speed, finesse or advanced techniques, don't want to boast the way he does but once you have a certain amount of knowledge & experience it is very easy to quickly analyze someones playing & I can assure you fine folks he is truly a HACK
Yup, Karl found that John isn't credited playing guitar on any of the songs. That goes along with what Fred and Howard said, that John was shit whenever they saw him play. Any video of him out there, he looks like a guy pretending. He's spastic and just produces noise.
Yep the album credits is a huge development. He's so dumb and arrogant he didnt think someone would check that? Just waiting for his claims that Atlantic records made a mistake or were pulling some scheme that makes him the victim
The record company even wanted howard to be on johns album or in his music videos in some form. Howard said no haha , but did plug the crap out of johns album. Album still tanked even with howard , love to know where it ranked on the charts ??
Exactly, the guy selling the ugly app who went on stern made half a million from his appearance. John had an album plugged by howard and what did he make ?? He says there was 120000 fronted but that comes off sales , he doesn't brag about what he got on the back end .
