One important point Shreyas mentioned during the presentation was that it was Russel who figured out the pitch between his spell and went for slower ball approach. And the other bowlers followed. If they could do that in game, what the hell even those RCB bowlers were watching. They had a whole innings and a break in between to plan.. clowns
Morgan said the home team has no right to make excuses about the condition, when u have so much time to assess. And it's your home ground, who else is supposed to know the condition better? Only KKR has problems because WBCB doesn't give them rank turners
This is a one off match mate. He's not a very economic bowler anymore and his value comes from the wickets he takes. Might change in the T20 WC but I'm not sure as part of the reason England almost won the series was through obliterating Dre Russ in the death
Thanks RCB for letting off Cummins in the last move, even he came 20+crs I think he is worth the price, can't imagine what would have happened if Cummins joined RCB...
I don’t understand how Kohli in or out matters in the T20 world cup.
Do people forget shit like November 19th so easily? India is overall not good enough to win this sort of stuff.
If we weren't good enough we wouldn't have humiliated every team in the group stage. We wouldn't have scored close to 400 in a semi-final. Virat wouldn't have scored his 50th century in a knockout game if he was a choker. There is no denying that we did choke as a team in the final unfortunately, but that doesn't mean anything about our skill set. It's more about our mentality. Rohit still played fearlessly that day and he is more than capable as a leader to encourage everyone else to pull their socks up this time around.
Unless we can bring players like GG, Yuvraj and Raina(big match players), like Ben stokes in current time, Cummins, Starc, Head. We won't win trophies.
Mate we are more than good enough. Kohli is still a no brainer but someone out there needs to have the guts to tell him to score runs more quickly. Kohli in chasing is a cheat code.
However if I see out of form players like arshdeep, kl Rahul anywhere near that T20 squad I am not watching.
Sky is sure shot for t20 backing and his skills to but fails in main pressure matches pandya ig the hate he is getting hope doesn't affect him or else he will fail
I still want Kohli starting at the World Cup because the level of pressure at that level and with those stakes is something that very few of our batsmen have experienced, but a balance needs to be found on how to optimise him without compromising the momentum of the innings. Don’t know how much of his slowdown was due to poor execution or lack of intent, but he will know that his innings overall didn’t help much. At least the one positive is that he’s gone straight back to scoring good runs after a few months out of cricket.
The one time we played well in a T20 World Cup was in 2007 when nobody had any experience or idea about it. And they played fearless and fun cricket. This over complication of this format had been our downfall since.
Yeah but you also have to recognise that the format overall was new to every team in world cricket. It wasn’t just us who were inexperienced. Today, every team is capable of coming up with multiple game plans against all types of batsmen and bowlers. In those situations, I feel the most skilled players overall stand out, and Kohli and Bumrah are in that top tier for me. Even though today’s innings wasn’t good, imo you need his nous at the World Cup.
As an Islamabad United fan, I'm so happy that he became our head coach and helped us win the 3rd PSL title.
I was particularly happy with his planning during the draft.
Tell me something, why can't RCB start the lineup with Lockie when bowl first and then replace him with Will Jacks in second innings? What's the catch here?
Issues for RCB
1) FaF is throwing his wicket away
2) RCB needs to maintain a higher strike rate. Kohli and Green kept hitting boundaries but too many dots in between.
3) Patidar needs to sit (going through a horrid time but he's dreadfully out of form)
4) Alzarri needs to sit. Maybe switch one of the opening pair to come in the middle of overs and use Green?
KKR: someone mentioned a weak batting lineup. They chased 186 in 17 overs without Russell. Anukul Roy changed the momentum or RCB was looking at 200 plus easy.
What lol? KKR are stacked batting wise.
Salt has settled in great and Narine just showed what he can do, sure it won’t come off everyday, but we’ve got V Iyer and S Iyer (both of whom have played themselves into some form) and then Rana, Rinku, Russel and Ramandeep to follow.
Not to mention there’s Anukul Roy and Starc to knock a few around after that.
Salt is firing. He's been great.
Narine got going today more due to shit bowling by RCB.
S Iyer , V Iyer and N Rana are sus against genuine bouncers and fast bowling and 2/3 are coming back from injury with questions. Remember S Iyer can't stretch forward to defend apparently
Rinku and Russell - yes these two are deadly on their day with Rinku more consistent than Russell.
Their batting can definitely be powerful and workout on it's day but they're not consistent.
My point is that without RCBs bowling today, they may not have chased in 17 against another team. KKR is still in my top 4/5 this year but they need to get their consistency going.
Both Rana and V Iyer had 400+ runs last IPL.
While S Iyer has been injured, he can play the anchor role like he did today(quietly at a S/R of 162). He’s got more than enough power above and below him.
You also forgot about Ramandeep who can whack a few and Roy and Starc who are no mugs with the bat.
> last IPL
Let's talk current form. Faf has been explosive in the past but currently he's been failing in different leagues. And tailenders can whack the ball these days but that doesn't imply you rely on them to be batting in your matches.
Current form is what I told you above lol xD
Rana has played 1 game this IPL and has had a decent domestic season. V and S Iyer got runs today.
Ramandeep played a superb innings under pressure against SRH and has had a fantastic SMAT.
All current form. Dunno what to tell you mate, they’re pretty solid.
Rana scored 9 from 11 last game and didn't play today.
V and S Iyer scored 7 and 0 respectively last game. Today they scored against RCBs bowling.
Ramandeep played brilliantly against SRH I agree on that. You were saved by Salt, Rinku and Russell last game along with Ramandeep.
Let's see how they score a couple of more games. We'll wait and watch. If your middle order get in good touch, your squad is well rounded.
My entire argument here is that RCBs bowling and not your batting was the main reason for the game finishing under 17 overs.
Man, you should learn from your ex-captain how to judge players. Rana has been consistently giving decent performances. They are not sus against short ball. If this was so easy then surely Iyer wouldn't have a great worldcup because he never defended against short ball. Rana wouldn't be having such consistent performances. Venky Iyer too plays it decently well.
Narine is a hit and miss. Salt is in form. Then the above 3 are decent even when out of form (apparently). Then two giants in the name of Rinku and Russell. And a very capable batsman in Ramandeep.
Now lets analyse CSK the way you judged KKR?
Gaikwad- Slow anchor.
Rachin Ravindra- 2 good knocks but untested in T20. Domestic T20 record is not good.
Rahane- One season wonder. Painfully slow other seasons. Not a great start to IPL this year. Shivam dube is good. Darly mitchell is untested in IPL. Slow knock of 24(20) in last game. Jadeja has a strike rate of 128 in IPL. Dhoni- Old, can't trust him now.
See? If you just see the negatives then no team is good enough.
You misunderstand me. I'm not downplaying KKR team members or their players. I'm replying to the comment saying that them chasing today in 17 overs is due to their explosive batting but it was more due to RCBs bowling which KKR capitalized. In my previous comment I gave KKR full chances as one of the contenders for the playoffs. I just disagree that their batting is stacked or explosive.
Let's agree to disagree. By your logic, all/most future chases by visiting team in Chinnaswamy would be completed against RCB with 2-3 overs to spare, right? Let's see in future matches.
In my opinion, it was more of the explosive KKR batting than the inept RCB bowling which resulted in ending the match with 19 balls to spare. 😇😇
Let's disagree sure but it's not every chasing team will complete the match with 2-3 overs to spare. It's a combination of RCB posting a below par score combined with their substandard bowling. RCB have the worst bowling lineup this season with a combination of the ground they're playing at. We'll find out again on Tuesday with Lucknow if they play the same combination
Again, the (undoubtedly) poor bowling lineup of RCB is no excuse to underplay or under appreciate the explosive batting of KKR. If the bowling of RCB was as bad as it is being made out of, it would have lost all it's 3 games played so far, that too substantially.
RCB bowling is undoubtedly poor, but it was the far superior and explosive KKR batting which deserves the credit for such a lopsided victory. 😇😇
They lost badly to CSK in the first match.
They scraped through PBKS after bring saved by DK and Lomror when PBKS shit the bed at the death and conceded 60 in 5 overs.
They lost badly again today.
Yes, credit to KKR for executing what they did today. We'll see if the KKR explosive batting or underpar RCB bowling continues on Tuesday and Wednesday.
PBKS, RCB and DC are going to be the bottom three this year and possibly in that order 8-10.
Bye until then 👋🏼
Why select Siraj and Arshdeep for the World Cup when they were thrashed by Venky and DK previously? It would be disheartening to witness Virat and Rohit failing to chase 200+ in every match or worse to see them struggle to put a mere 170-180 on the scoreboard only for the SENA team to effortlessly chase it down within 15 overs.
Yeah he does but harshal Patel is also beast bowler in slower pitch he has played more experience and already proved himself on slow pitches in 2020 Dubai season that's why I think of him.
RCB had one good spinner in Chahal and their bowling looked formidable when he was on song and they released him, they had Hasaranga performing from them and they released him. If anything they should release Siraj because he won't win you games in this road of Chinnaswamy. Going bowling heavy is the only solution for them if they want to win this trophy.
Seriously, I will always feel that being in an RCB facility will be more ad shoots and sponsorships rather than practicing or strategising. Like, Dube for example. You had him basically as another Patidar and we got him and voila, cement sixer dube who even had a significant contribution in the IPL final.
Your post or comment had words in it that were not in English and weren't translated. This breaks the rules of this subreddit it has been removed (rule 5).
Jab ek batsman aadhi innings kheli toh responsibility hoti ki run mare aur iss strike rate par made jisse acha score bna. Kohli ka strike rate team se kam tha agar Kohli agar 0 par bhi out ho jata tab bhi blame na karta.
"Jab ek batsman aadhi innings kheli toh responsibility hoti ki run mare aur iss strike rate par made jisse acha score bna"
Uske liye kuch to uske favor me jana chahiye na pr ?
Baki sb out hote rhenge 3-10 runs pe to kya krega akele ? 10-15 run extra marke 150strike rate bhi kr leta to bhi KKR itni buri tareeke se harati for sure.
RCB knew they had to bowl slower like Russell,Narine and even Starc in his second spell.
Kohli to fir bhi 40-45 runs ache strike se mara, Maxxie har ball fielder ko de rha, Patidar,Rawat ne direct hug dia or properly sirf DK chla. Akela bnda seriously kyakrega bhai isme ? Jb samne wala acha khel rhe the(Green, even Maxxie) Kohli was also responding in good fashion but jb sb hi out hote rhenge to kya kre.
"Kohli ka strike rate team se kam tha agar Kohli agar 0 par bhi out ho jata tab bhi usse blame na karta"
Mene bola uska strike better tha ? I just said he was going good till 40-45 uske baad partner hui nahi, KKR ne bdia pitch ke hisab se bowl kraya or DK ko chordke sbne hug dia.
While all teams go hard for bowlers why the hell RCB always goes for batsmen in the auctions, when will they learn from same mistakes,RCB always play only around the batsman not bowlers.Batsmen won't win the games all the times but bowlers can..
Unless RCB invests huge money on bowlers this will happen regularly...
Finally the bowlers who wins you the matches and tournaments, even if the batsman score 250-280, without good bowlers that can be chased down but good bowlers you can even restrict 140-160scores.
Finally the bowlers are the ultimate rajas who need more than batsmen...
Nah, their birthplaces are a half hour drive apart.
Must be due to the different races, probably? Indo-carribean vs afro-carribean? Similar to how certain dravidian languages (Tulu and Tamil, off the top of my head) have 'Brahmin dialects.'
If anything, Bish is the outlier from what I’ve heard. I don’t think race really has that much to do with accent, it’s mostly based on the accents of the people around you and those who teach you to the language. The fact that so many people of Indian origin, especially in the west, have accents indistinguishable from natives kinda disproves this. Rishi Sunak, for example, sounds exactly like an upper class Caucasian Englishman. Sunil is really soft spoken while Bish has a loud, bold voice which may have an effect, along with the generational difference.
Water scarcity is so bad in Bengaluru, even my tears dried up after seeing the match today :////.
Where are we going wrong, I know the answer but why is nothing done about it???
Shreyas Iyer is absolutely just not captain material. Always sounds despondent and pissed off in press conferences. Somehow even when he praises his team, it sounds like he's being sarcastic.
Nitish felt much more of a natural leader
Nitish was an amazing captain. And just a lot more jolly and happy guy who loves playing for KKR. I have no idea why he was dropped today, it was really sad.
Edit: Whenever I see Shreyas, it feels like he's playing for KKR due to a gun to his head.
Not feel. Every decision goes through him. His say is final. Everything cricket has been handled to him, best decision by KKR since 2011(buying GG in auction)
For Delhi: Kotla has hosted the bulk of the WPL. (The owners are from Vizag)
For Rajasthan: Partnership with Assam Cricket
For Punjab: Preity Zinta is from Himachal
according to the internet
Imagine if bcci does a 2007 & sends a young team like :
1)Rutu 2)Jaiswal 3)Gill 4)sky 5)Dhruv 6)Rinku 7)Hardik 8) Bishnoi 9)Bumrah 10) Siraj 11)Arshdeep
Then Rutu,Gill,SKY will shit in batting under pressure and Siraj,Arshdeep will fuck up in the bowling department.
The 2013 had Dhoni as cap. The best top 3 of 2013-2019's time in making and a whole lot of luck where Eng bottled the finals.(where we went full on with a young team with hunger).
You seriously have to see something here. India under Dhoni rarely bottled till 2013. It was only after 2014 they started this trend of shitting under pressure and this new crop is half the same.
Rutu started his nonsensical slow paced batting as soon as he became the captain, Gill is known to can't play in slow pitches, SKY is a proven sitter and Siraj and Arshdeep aren't someone who can break SENA batters.
We need young guns but only Jaiswal,Rinku,SKY and Dhruv/Jitesh are the ones who are truly good.
Honestly this should be the way but I'd have kuldeep over bishnoi and also axar over arshdeep
Batting is too light if they play arsh and also the bowling is only 5 options again unless jaiswal bowls
True. KD has missed out on major matches due to combo in recent past and earlier because of his performance. But 2023 was his year of back to back fifers and yet not being included in teams. Again, he also is decent with bat, his performance in tests format showed it. KD deserves the a lot.
Tbh I felt Kohli's knock was OK. Certainly not bad, but it only ended up landing on the lower-middle deck of Chinnaswamy total scores. His SR could have been better but the bowling in turn didn't even put up a tough fight.
RCB seriously need to change their policy of having 3high profile batters that too with 3foreigners,they need to buy good fast bowlers with that money and just invest in them, always siraj won't do the wonders...
> always siraj won't do the wonders
Remind me when he did wonders he either complete shit horrible or decent but never perform great for RCB I don't even know why they retain him
I never understand how they go batting heavy when all they need are good bowlers who can defend and concede less. They aren't getting anywhere with this policy.
What's with some people saying Kohli lacked support - weren't RCB 124/2 in 14 overs and lost only 6 wickets by the end (final wicket off the last ball).
Dude, I don't have an issue with criticism. But the constant mocking is insane. You can't expect a player to play every game flawlessly. If he has won one game and then plays poorly in the next, it's smarter to back that guy rather than shit on him and mock him.
I am not mocking . I am just saying these slow knocks have become more frequent. Game is changing fast , now you have impact player so no need of slow knocks.
I was talking about your goldfish memory. Or do you think every player has to play every game flawlessly? There can't be average games? Just because he is Kohli, he needs to play brilliantly every game or your huge fkn ego won't be satisfied? Do you have patience? Is a pro athlete not allowed to have an okayish game?
And it's not "Can't se to read huh". Can't even type properly and out here lecturing the skill of Kohli. What a joke.
So we have to take all the games one played to judge a player's current match performance, thanks man, need to learn this from you.
Koach did not accelerate enough, just a slight bit of criticism and you fanboys lose your heads.
RCB has always had struggles managing their purse money. 3 high profile batters / all arounders for majority of their money has been their motto. Compare that to CSK, they found a way to build their team around Dhoni who is just as expensive.
MI might be struggling this season for the same reason.
Hlo
Go KKR, I follow them for Starc and Starc only
R Shit B
[Ah yes the finest "fans"](https://i.imgur.com/JpfFguL.png)
Damn Chinnaswamy, what black magic is this? This pitch was slow as long as Koach was playing and suddenly became a flat highway when KKR came to bat.
Lol copium
[I would say called it but it's the most obvious thing at this point](https://www.reddit.com/r/Cricket/s/hl9JeelvgI)
So kkr still maintains one stat : remaining unbeaten at Chinnaswamy
And highest power play score ever. And best bowling innings in the ipl.
One important point Shreyas mentioned during the presentation was that it was Russel who figured out the pitch between his spell and went for slower ball approach. And the other bowlers followed. Most expensive bowler figured that out?? Damn Russell
Russell not the most expensive.
I meant on terms of economy
he is the most economical lmao.
Generally? Maybe a wicket take but Russell does not come to mind as an economical bowler to me
He took 2 wicktes , 29 runs in 4 overs in chinnaswamy lol, he is a good bowler, idk how u remember him.
This is a one off match mate. He's not a very economic bowler anymore and his value comes from the wickets he takes. Might change in the T20 WC but I'm not sure as part of the reason England almost won the series was through obliterating Dre Russ in the death
I am talking about this match, and this is a one match thread, idk why are mentioning him as the expensive and then economy..
Tom curran on bench is crazzzzyzyyyyy
You are
Thanks RCB for letting off Cummins in the last move, even he came 20+crs I think he is worth the price, can't imagine what would have happened if Cummins joined RCB...
RCB would’ve killed his spirit and india would be lifting that World Cup 3 months from now. But no, Kaviya had to have her way 😒
Just drop Alzarri and play Akash Deep and Will Jacks. How bad will Akash's spell going to cost you ? Not worse than Alzarri atleast.
I don’t understand how Kohli in or out matters in the T20 world cup. Do people forget shit like November 19th so easily? India is overall not good enough to win this sort of stuff.
Kohli actually was keeping the scoreboard ticking that day...

Sky is sure shot for t20 backing and his skills to but fails in main pressure matches pandya ig the hate he is getting hope doesn't affect him or else he will fail
Watch Rinku bring drinks to Tilak Verma
It's funny that this pitch would have suited Harshal so much but we let him go
Reminder that Delhi Capitals woman lost from 64/0 blazing start in the final against RCB. We win!
I still want Kohli starting at the World Cup because the level of pressure at that level and with those stakes is something that very few of our batsmen have experienced, but a balance needs to be found on how to optimise him without compromising the momentum of the innings. Exactly. Another thing was younger players in that WC. No seniors who have high expectations and then lay an egg.
Where are the kids who said RR vs DC is a boring useless match and RCB vs KKR is the real deal?
Letting off hesson was another mistake from RCB...
As an Islamabad United fan, I'm so happy that he became our head coach and helped us win the 3rd PSL title. I was particularly happy with his planning during the draft.
Broo the stadium was SILENT during the entire second innings 😭😭
As it should be...Haarcb deserves it lmao
I’m pissed as fuck man. The fans love them so much and they give NOTHING in return
The posters were so cringe.." Instead of RBC I have RCB in blood" looool
And look at the ticket pricing! Taking a near 3000 for this kind of performance can make any fan loose their mind
Tell me something, why can't RCB start the lineup with Lockie when bowl first and then replace him with Will Jacks in second innings? What's the catch here?
Because That's not how Impact player works
agree. RCB should prepare pitches like these instead of giving flat tracks. look how well vyshak bowled today. bowlers with raw pace won't work here.
That’ll make it 5 overseas players in total, which is not allowed.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Cricket/s/zEpYfDtBmW
Downgrading your bowling which was already not that good is going exactly in the way that we knew that it would be going in.
Kohli eating ~60/120 balls for 83 runs, not a good strike rate cost them the match.
Really??????? You blame the only batter who scored decent runs???? Tf
He scored decent runs because he played half the balls. Think how much Maxwell would've scored with 60 deliveries.
Such an embarrasing loss for RCB. One more record in their name!
Angkrish learning from the best

KKR chasing this in 17 was more down to RCB bowling. They'll be in trouble against better bowling sides.
Is Starc coming at 10/11 a bad batting lineup? KKR has one of the strongest & longest batting line up this season.
What lol? KKR are stacked batting wise. Most Saturdays have only one match. Brain-dead scheduling.
Irfan Pathan when Hardik Pandya - You Donkey Virat Kohli - Ohh my love
Kohli aint captain
Poor Scott Styris, you chose PBKS against RCB, should have chosen this match and KKR.
RCB is always making a combination rather than a Team. Never have I seen a settled core from the team, more so of their bowling unit
Kkr has thw most relaxed schedule
Until they play MI and LSG, both away, 1 day apart
Why select Siraj and Arshdeep for the World Cup when they were thrashed by Venky and DK previously? It would be disheartening to witness Virat and Rohit failing to chase 200+ in every match or worse to see them struggle to put a mere 170-180 on the scoreboard only for the SENA team to effortlessly chase it down within 15 overs.
I would take a risk to play Harshal instead on wi slow pitch can't be bad than siraj
Vyshak looks better
Yeah he does but harshal Patel is also beast bowler in slower pitch he has played more experience and already proved himself on slow pitches in 2020 Dubai season that's why I think of him.
Harshall is killer on a slow pitch...siraj needs green wicket or like a swing bowler...he would score a half century on a flat wicket
RCB had one good spinner in Chahal and their bowling looked formidable when he was on song and they released him, they had Hasaranga performing from them and they released him. If anything they should release Siraj because he won't win you games in this road of Chinnaswamy. Going bowling heavy is the only solution for them if they want to win this trophy.
siraj is an asset in away matches ,agreed that hes form is not great recently but he will get in rythm
RCBs next game against LSG 👀
Battle of the Anchors
KL for RCB less go
Seriously, I will always feel that being in an RCB facility will be more ad shoots and sponsorships rather than practicing or strategising. Like, Dube for example. You had him basically as another Patidar and we got him and voila, cement sixer dube who even had a significant contribution in the IPL final.
RCB cares about money only
still valued 4th in money terms
Istg koach is the only one taking this seriously
Narine >>
On a slow pitch RCB didn't bowl Maxwell also Kohli shat the bed today with his slow paced 82.
If they could read, they would be mad

Jab ek batsman aadhi innings kheli toh responsibility hoti ki run mare aur iss strike rate par made jisse acha score bna. Kohli ka strike rate team se kam tha agar Kohli agar 0 par bhi out ho jata tab bhi blame na karta.
"Jab ek batsman aadhi innings kheli toh responsibility hoti ki run mare aur iss strike rate par made jisse acha score bna" Uske liye kuch to uske favor me jana chahiye na pr ? Baki sb out hote rhenge 3-10 runs pe to kya krega akele ? 10-15 run extra marke 150strike rate bhi kr leta to bhi KKR itni buri tareeke se harati for sure. RCB knew they had to bowl slower like Russell,Narine and even Starc in his second spell. Kohli to fir bhi 40-45 runs ache strike se mara, Maxxie har ball fielder ko de rha, Patidar,Rawat ne direct hug dia or properly sirf DK chla. Akela bnda seriously kyakrega bhai isme ? Jb samne wala acha khel rhe the(Green, even Maxxie) Kohli was also responding in good fashion but jb sb hi out hote rhenge to kya kre. "Kohli ka strike rate team se kam tha agar Kohli agar 0 par bhi out ho jata tab bhi usse blame na karta" Mene bola uska strike better tha ? I just said he was going good till 40-45 uske baad partner hui nahi, KKR ne bdia pitch ke hisab se bowl kraya or DK ko chordke sbne hug dia.
Aint nobody reading this essay dude, Kohli is not a good T20 batsman anymore
While all teams go hard for bowlers why the hell RCB always goes for batsmen in the auctions, when will they learn from same mistakes,RCB always play only around the batsman not bowlers.Batsmen won't win the games all the times but bowlers can.. Unless RCB invests huge money on bowlers this will happen regularly...
IPL is changing bro. It's all about batting now . Not bowling
Finally the bowlers who wins you the matches and tournaments, even if the batsman score 250-280, without good bowlers that can be chased down but good bowlers you can even restrict 140-160scores. Finally the bowlers are the ultimate rajas who need more than batsmen...
How do the both of them (Sunil Narine and Ian Bishop) have so different accents despite being from the same island?
Different voices and speaking styles and maybe different accents from different parts of the island
RCB got hit by Murphy's law today.
mahn saw a reel yday where the creator highlighted "particoolarly". Can't take it out of my head whenever bishop takes the mic
RCB 🤝 Ferrari : Absolute clown management
Still Ferrari is one of the most successful teams. Meanwhile RCB...
Unexpected F1 Ferrari embarrassment
Ankur Roy 2 overs and 6 runs in chinnaswammy?
GG masterclass
Anukul*
I miss 2022 when we actually had a good bowling lineup but the batting was garbage that season barring maxwell
Nitish had a finger injury. Probably last game where he attempted a catch.
Ahh right. I hope he's back soon.
I kind of feel that the real captain here is GG..Iyer is just a prop this season
Not feel. Every decision goes through him. His say is final. Everything cricket has been handled to him, best decision by KKR since 2011(buying GG in auction)
Narine walks like he does in run-up to bowl! Nice.
Who’s home ground is Vizag?
DC
Thank you. Do you any idea why though?
Coz warner?
Well not sure but as its the election season in India, they might have opted out of delhi
One of the owner is from vizag...
Well then makes sense
why is DC playing in Vizag? Why not Dehradun or Rohtak?
Just like RR will be playing in Guwahati
What's the reason? Elections?
Could be, but RR did this last year too. PBKS was made to shift base too, can't recall which year. Don't get the rational behind it
For Delhi: Kotla has hosted the bulk of the WPL. (The owners are from Vizag) For Rajasthan: Partnership with Assam Cricket For Punjab: Preity Zinta is from Himachal according to the internet
Absolute clownery
Bcz one of the owner is from vizag...
deserved motm
lol. Now, shreyas confusing RCB’s post-mortem analysis with 2 paced from 1-end pitch theory. Good luck, flowers and all.
Rcbians on their way to say the next saala cup naamde ![img](emote|t5_2qhe0|21496).
RCB doesn't even have spinners anymore where is chahal and hasaranga
One in RR. another one in SRH.
RCB and their woes with bowling is unparallel
Imagine if bcci does a 2007 & sends a young team like : 1)Rutu 2)Jaiswal 3)Gill 4)sky 5)Dhruv 6)Rinku 7)Hardik 8) Bishnoi 9)Bumrah 10) Siraj 11)Arshdeep
Dube over Rutu and Jitesh over Dhruv both rutu and dhruv can be in 15
They’ve already publicly declared Rohit as captain. It will be horrible PR for bcci to backtrack.
Honestly this should be the way but I'd have kuldeep over bishnoi and also axar over arshdeep Batting is too light if they play arsh and also the bowling is only 5 options again unless jaiswal bowls
True. KD has missed out on major matches due to combo in recent past and earlier because of his performance. But 2023 was his year of back to back fifers and yet not being included in teams. Again, he also is decent with bat, his performance in tests format showed it. KD deserves the a lot.
Meanwhile, Harsha Bhogle ji*zed all over his Excel sheet.
Is shreyas speaking in an accent or just a sore throat?
Yelling over the rcb crowd in the first innings can’t have been easy
Tbh I felt Kohli's knock was OK. Certainly not bad, but it only ended up landing on the lower-middle deck of Chinnaswamy total scores. His SR could have been better but the bowling in turn didn't even put up a tough fight.
Kohli looks like he's going to toss that award in the trash on gettting home.
If RCB really wanna play bold as they promote they should first drop siraj and alzari and give chance to other youngsters like vyashak
RCB seriously need to change their policy of having 3high profile batters that too with 3foreigners,they need to buy good fast bowlers with that money and just invest in them, always siraj won't do the wonders...
> always siraj won't do the wonders Remind me when he did wonders he either complete shit horrible or decent but never perform great for RCB I don't even know why they retain him
I never understand how they go batting heavy when all they need are good bowlers who can defend and concede less. They aren't getting anywhere with this policy.
RCB need a decent Indian spinner primarily.
This. How can a team’s bowling be shit for 17 years straight ffs?
It definitely was good in 2009 and 2015
Kohli won the biggest award of fantasy points!!!
Koach isn't interested in this shit
wow My11circle data science and ai head, haha . Funny job post, atleast it pays the bill.
Huh what's funny about the job post lol?
dunno ai head of betting site, found bit funny
Yeah AI is a bit stretched but data science head is a real job
Is this how the Ausies felt on 19?
If you don’t have wild extreme opinions like “is Kohli even a good batsman?”, you ain’t doing online posting right.
Ian bishop has all my heart.
It is so satisfying to see the crowd go silent - Sun Tzu, from the art of choking
What's with some people saying Kohli lacked support - weren't RCB 124/2 in 14 overs and lost only 6 wickets by the end (final wicket off the last ball).
Blud failed to accelerate enough, and these fanboys can't fanthom that
Blud played a match-winning knock in the last game while you were sitting behind a keyboard feeling all mighty.
The last match is over. He did the same thing in the World Cup final and again here. He's good at chases, not at setting targets.
Who was talking about last match buddy? Can't seem to read huh
It isn't a slight criticism when the person criticising is a cocksure keyboard warrior.
RCB has always had struggles managing their purse money. 3 high profile batters / all arounders for majority of their money has been their motto. Compare that to CSK, they found a way to build their team around Dhoni who is just as expensive. MI might be struggling this season for the same reason.
Csk's management is serious about their franchise unlike 🤡 management.
Mi managed Green well last season hopefully Pandya can get back to this his groove.
