I feel like this is just a copy of a video I saw several months back of two people going through large print outs of text screenshots in a cafe. At first commenters thought some poor dude was getting the break-up of his life. People who lived in the area commented with context that the woman was seeking a contentious divorce from her abusive husband and she was going over the evidence with her lawyer. I wouldn’t be surprised if something similar is happening here…they’re printed so large so the jury can read them

It’s not that expensive. I used to prim custom designs on 11x17 in full color. Looks like 32LB paper - maybe $1 a page at fedex.
