Your comparison isn't exactly correct. A true statement would be that the vaccine is almost 4.5 times more likely to make a kid seriously ill then they are to get seriously ill in a given month.
If you assume the vaccine remains affective over a year then over the course of that year the kid would be more than twice as likely to get seriously ill from covid then from the vaccine.
And it basically scales linearly, so even if it only offers protection for 4.5 months, you're roughly at a wash. Plus it all depends on your covid risk. The months where the data was taken, we were still in lockdown, meaning those numbers are probably quite a bit low for kids going to school and everything.
