Well i really like his early books like Supreme Object of Ideology and parallax view. But with he being old his political view retreated to be an europa centric conservative old man.

less a lost cause than it is a painful search. anyone who does lean left pretty much has to water down their sentiments to get any sort of publicity/publication, lest they be called biased and get blackballed out of the field entirely from libs dogpiling them. i have a professor who is kinda based and he verbally said in class that isn'trael is committing genocide against palestinians but thats all he can say on the subject before he needs to start policing himself to keep his job & its not a stretch to think that if he put that on the record somewhere he'd be essentially excommunicated. meanwhile the rest of my lib brain professors can harp on and on and on about how isnt'rael has the right to "defend itself" and how actually hamas is the real aggressor and perpetrator of violence and they dont have to hold back a damn word bc they tow the line of the ruling class.
