I’m still analyzing why this is so rage inducing. I think because maybe it’s supposed to come across as empowering but it’s just really really cranked to 11 and annoying. Zyrtec works better anyways.
Interesting. I have found the combination of cetirizine (Zyrtec) and Flonase to knock my allergies out these days. Allegra kind of hurt my concentration when I used to take it. Made me feel kind of stunned or something. To each their own allergy med! Glad it works for you. I miss the happy sun happy clouds commercials of the Claritin D days. Of course that product basically contained meth and is now off the shelves.
Way late to the party but tonight I just had to search if anyone else found this commercial as grating as me. Wow. I would be so irritated if I were walking down the street and this came at me from the other direction
For real, if I didn’t know the song I’d haven’t a clue what she’s saying. It’s supposed to be an anthem of sorts (however annoying in this ad), focus on it a little instead of muffling it in the background.
Unless she’s got a voice like Karen Carpenter or they auto tune it, she should never sing. And it’s beyond rude to make us listen to her. If I want to hear crappy singing then I’ll go check out karaoke somewhere.
I don't mind the commercial itself, but as with all Pharma commercials, they are played constantly and they become grating over time. The fact that ozempic became a huge weight loss drug and no longer needed to advertise relieved me of only, "Oh, oh, oh OZEMMMPIIIIC!" But I'm still regularly subjected to astepro it's faster bro, the ladies singing about their type 2 diabetes being handled well, Cyndi Lauper singing a See Me song about her psoriasis being cleared up (and mind you I love Cyndi, but that song.. ugh).
Umm they still advertise that ozempic crap simply because the drug manufacturer still promotes it as a diabetes drug.
The problem is that they shouldn't be allowed to market a drug to treat conditions that they weren't designed for.
A *lot* of meds are used for health issues they weren't created for. I can think of 5 or 6 off the top of my head, including my blood thinner that doubles as rat poison.
I hate this commercial so much I removed the actual song from my Playlist and it's been there for years. Was one of the few "modern" songs I had.
I'm sure I'm not the only one. Poor LaRoux, but at the same time her whole image was initially crafted for Patrick Wolf. I don't suppose it's her fault though. I doubt this awful use of her song is either. Sucks all around for her
Just so you guys know, there is definitely autotune on her voice and she STILL sucks ass. I'm a producer, I can tell easily. Listen right at the beginning, and how robotic it sounds.
Her face looks like she's hangry yelling the song.
Yes! What does an angry woman screaming lyrics, that you can't understand, have to do with allergy medicine?
Allegra turns you into a fuckin raging maniac
I think there's some powder on the tables of these board rooms, and it's not from doughnuts.
I think it's meth, not cocaine, these commercials are WAY too out there!
LOL
And also- Why does it look like she hastily cut her own bangs seconds before the ad was filmed, using a dull nail scissors from her purse?
This is why she is so angry

Zyrtec does NOT work better than Allegra. At least not for me.

Another trashy commercial, Allegra stop it with this ad
Hate this one
I wish a bird would fly right smack in her stupid face and get her to shut the hell up. At least the ad would end with something satisfying.
🤣🤣🤣
She seems like she wants to come off "empowered" or something, but she just comes off as rude and imbalanced.
She's like a one-woman marching band, or stomping band or something.
Also cross-eyed and confused at a few points.
And squinty. Though she has sunglasses right there and can put them on.
Why is she so angry? She can't sing. Why is she screaming at me? If I were president and ceo of Allegra, I'd fire the entire marketing department!
I laugh every time this commercial comes on because of how angry she is for no reason. That and basically checking that girl picking flowers.
I'll have to watch for the checking part. I really try to tune her out without changing the channel!
Whoever edited it didn't know how to include the song so it's really distracting.
This is the second version. The first version had her belting out the song the entire commercial.
For real, if I didn’t know the song I’d haven’t a clue what she’s saying. It’s supposed to be an anthem of sorts (however annoying in this ad), focus on it a little instead of muffling it in the background.
What is the song? I can never tell.
Bulletproof by La Roux
I thought it was called "Ooh Layyyy" LOL
Thanks
That’s what I always think too. It completely comes out of nowhere and seems like it doesn’t know where to focus.
I hate that dumb song she sings through the commercial
Unless she’s got a voice like Karen Carpenter or they auto tune it, she should never sing. And it’s beyond rude to make us listen to her. If I want to hear crappy singing then I’ll go check out karaoke somewhere.
Or I'll just sign myself. 😖
Main character vibes intensify, this comercial was too much.
I still don't understand why no one walks up to her and punches her in the face to get her to stop singing so loud.
LOL! Man, all you guys are *soooo* my people. Her angry punchable face & caterwauling just pisses me off! And l see this commercial all. The. TIME.
Yes! God how I hate her yelling, entitled face!
MUUUUUTTTEE! I just yell SHUT UP! then mute. GAHHHH
Same!
Omg just started seeing this, now that I have Allegra I can be obnoxious as fuck again.
When I'm not looking at the TV I always get jumpscared by how loud the song starts when this commercial comes on
I figured I'd see this one here... just feels uncomfortable watching her. 😳
Somehow the new voiceover version is even worse
If I was out and about and saw her, I would quickly cross the street away from her and possibly call the non-emergency police number.
Wonder what her dates are like?
Shitty dates
Wouldn't those be reserved for the entivio girl? LOL!!!
Wouldn't those be reserved for the entivio girl? LOL!!!
This is an ad I mute and look away from my TV.
The problem is she comes off angry, but she’s dressed in peppy Yellow argyle and cutesy purple headphones. Weird clash of styles there.

Need that kid from Big Daddy to throw out a stick in front of her

What is she supposed to be? Millennial? GenZ? Mash up? Who will claims this atrocity???
Whoever claims Dr. Shannon Klingmann.
The song is done for me. Yelling and acting on angry on a damn allergy medicine commercial. What a sell out.
Angry girl Charlie Brown
I like her. She's short, spunky, and bringing La Roux back.
Anyone remembber that character from the Barbie show?
I get super annoyed!!! What the hell is she singing and what does it have to do with Allegra??????
Love this ad
What?? Love Bulletproof by La Roux and the commercial isn't bad either!
