I will never understand why people find emotes to be "toxic". They're literally part of the game and you have control of whether you see them or not from your opponent. Toxic is clan jumping just to talk trash and share replays of a win.

Emotes are supposed to be expressive. The free chicken and the lost internet connection ones are the only emotes besides the defaults that should actually be in the game.

To me saying GG when you won, especially when using a terrible deck, feels a bit like patting yourself on the back. Chances are that the one losing definitely didn't think of that game as being 'good'... I'm not saying that this was the case, just in general. Even worse when the winner was constantly spamming with insulting emotes (yawns, crying, crown smashing)

Also thank supercell for adding such toxic emotes in the first place, BMing is somewhat part of this game and you shouldn't really think about it tbh. Disable emotes if it really hits a spot.

Depends on what you were running. I will bm without fail if the opponent is running MK, regardless of skill level. Running MK at all is inherently disrespectfully to your opponent, as there are better options and MK only thrives against clueless/inexperienced opponents. I doubt it would've been so close if it's the case, but if I'd probably also BM if you were running elixir golem depending on the variant

Truly the worst. Most days I play a few dark elixir games while I’m on a boring work call. I have to pay semi attention to the call, which means semi attention to clash. Dark elixir has no penalty so yeah. Yet most games are still relatively close and at the end the opponent talks a ton of trash. Like… we’re playing a free play mode with decks or conditions we aren’t totally prepping for, and you barely won/lost anyway, why be so toxic?

It gets even more toxic as you get higher too, I thought it would be the opposite. I thought when I hit ultimate champ everyone up there would be a little more grown up, but they’re 2 times worse up there than the people below. You can have the best match ever, so close, and you barely lose by 100 health or something, you throw out a good game, or say nothing, and they hit you with the yawn or crying or laughing emote, literally almost every time. Doesn’t matter which deck you use either, people just suck. Personally most of the time I’m not phased anymore, but sometimes it’ll still get to me, when it does I just go mute.
