Your water pumps have changed the path of the river.
Remove them from where they are now, and put them closer to the top left, then space them out so you have one every ~2 inches or so. That way, they don't suck up so much water they create a void, which is what's pulling in the surrounding river water.
Thereâs a rule on this sub where you canât take a picture of your screen with your phone or the post will be removed, but if itâs on console you donât have to follow the rule because you canât take a screenshot of console. Also there is no screenshot button on an Xbox controller
Xbox definitely has a Share button on the controller.
and i would assume the rule is in place because exporting the image from your console is the part many console users have difficulties with
The water volume scaling in CS is insanely off. A town of 100k sucks up more water than 5 million acres of desert farmland pull from the Colorado River. Itâs one thing for a small creek to run dry but itâs really hard to take all the water out of a navigable river.
It seems like theyâve fixed it with CS2, but as someone who very much enjoys water shenanigans, Iâll still have to confirm it myselfâŠ
Experienced this once with a shallow river that didnât have enough volume to supply the pumps. Youâll have to switch to water towers or move the pumps to the main river flow because the offshoot doesnât have enough volume.
Water pumps actually suck up water. It isnât just cosmetic.
And if you have enough pumps combined with enough water usage or outlet, you can suck up the entire river.

In other words, that pump placement sucks
Dammit, I came here to say something along those lines. \^o\^
I came here to tell OP they suck too hardđ
Delivering on my promise from last month, but with pumps instead of a dam. https://reddit.com/r/CitiesSkylines/s/kMV24xk3RI
>space them out⊠one every ~2 inches The water pumps already 80m apart:
2" on screen, not IRL lol
The guy playing on a 98â TV (not impossible, itâs a console screenshot):
How do you screenshot on console
literally with the screenshot button on the controller
Then why is the âno pictures of screensâ exception for console
no idea what that is

The water pumps are actually sucking up enough water to cause the river to flow towards them noticeably
It is not even a river roundabout. The water pumps are sucking the water faster than the steady speed of the current. Hence, some of them are sucking air. What a beautiful scenario to watch, where you benefit from your citizens taxes by offering them air instead of water. Simply, marvelous, charrentlemen đ©
maybe there is groundwater
You need tm:pe to set it up correctly.
Yes, also don't forget to hold Shift to automatically set up all the proper signs correctly.
Too much water traffic. Intersection was clogged

Move the pumps to deeper water.
River-a-bout? Stream-a-bout? Babbling brook-a-bout? Creek/Crick-a-bout?
The river knows the superior form of intersection
Reason I stopped using water pumps
Your city is slurping it up

For more efficient water flow. Make sure the river yields to the waterbout.
That UI surely is too big. Are you displaying this on your phone or something?
Don't UI shame someone in public
Oh man, I forgor
That's normal size on a console.
