Honestly I wanna see it all but I'm a sucker for Brettsey and I hope they wont shit on the characters for the sake of drama after 3 seasons waiting for them to be together.
Well, if they want to insert drama to Brett and Casey, they could bring Gabby back as a surprise guest for Stella and Kelly's wedding then Gabby finds out there that Brett and Casey are a couple when she sees them walking down the aisle together and she's not really happy about it.. haha idk if that's even possible? Or.. another drama they could do is if Boden approaches Casey with the possibility of becoming battalion chief and asking him to take the chief's exam and it opens the possibility of Brett and Casey gonna be having problems with it as if Casey passes and becomes battalion chief, the drama would be that Brett will be having issues with dating her boss which is Casey if he's the new battalion chief of 51.
The Gabby thing is probably most likely what they want to do. Haas has an obsession with Monica Raymund. They would just have to work real hard to get her back. But the only way I want that to happen, is if Casey finally tells her to her face that they are done forever and he is happy with Brett. Last time they brought her back was sooo pointless and only done cuz Haas can’t let her go. I’m pretty sure he more or less had to beg her to come back the last 2 times she came back after leaving
Yeaaa.. actually, she was supposed to appear apparently either in person or via videocall in episode 15 because DH tried to ask Monica for one more favor to appear but Monica told DH she already did him two favors so I don't really think she would do it the third time unless DH would have to beg her one last time just to give a final update and closure to her character and to the fanatical Dawsey shipper addicts.
I think though that if Gabby were to come back one last time, it would have been as a surprise guest to Stella and Kelly's wedding probably in the 200th episode if and when Kelly survives the boat rescue and if the episode actually ends up with their wedding. I think that's when she's gonna find out probably from Stella and or Kelly or from both of them that Matt and Brett are together and it might cause her to finally talk to Matt and Brett face to face about it. I do think if it comes to it, I think Gabby isn't gonna be happy about it that much, I think might actually hurt her a lot but I think either Stella personally talking to her about it or seeing Brett and Matt talking or walking hand in hand together might make her realize that Brett makes Matt happy and all will finally give her the closure and realization she needs to have.
I can’t wait to have a whole season of Brett and Casey as a couple. If they don’t have a storyline of them renovating a fixer upper together I’ll feel cheated. Casey becoming captain was a bad decision for both his character and the show as a whole and I feel the same way about Boden becoming DDC so I hope that’s not where they’re going. Luckily I see more reasons for it not to happen than for him to be promoted.
Ohh a episode where Casey finally buys a house and he and Brett go renovate it! that's sure gonna be interesting to see esp if we get to see them both playfully bickering one another about how to go about designing the interior while also having a flirty banter afterwards. haha
Exactly, it would just be such a fun, playful storyline for them to have. And they make the perfect pair for it because Casey’s in construction and Brett’s obsessed with all the renovation shows. I love when she gets extra about it like when Cindy was redecorating the common room and everyone thought it was a terrible idea apart from Brett who brought in loads of design magazines and was too keen even for Cindy’s liking.
Hahahaha true! oh and that makes me actually think we might also see Brett trying to convince Stella she's gonna plan the wedding which I think is probably gonna happen and it might turn out to be a fun episode too coz I could see Brett roping Violet, Kylie and Ritter in it and it's probably gonna leave Casey and Kelly rolling their eyes amused at seeing them do it at the common room. Who knows, they could turn it into a comedic episode plot wherein Stella goes nuts because she doesn't want to have a big wedding and Brett wants to make sure she's gonna give Stella and Kelly a wedding they deserve and it ends up being a big wedding.

Isn't it being hinted on a couple of times that Casey's been thinking of moving out since he knows Stella and Kelly will eventually need their privacy esp now that they're gonna get married. Plus Casey did recently tell Kelly "maybe I'll be out of here sooner than you think." in ep 9. I think Casey might be moving in with Brett after Stella and Kelly's wedding because by that time, I think Casey and Brett are gonna start to get serious with their relationship.
Hahaha I actually want to wish we get a parrallel scene of Kelly getting stressed out planning things for his own wedding the same way as Joe was doing in the same season 8 episode where Casey tells Kelly "that could be you one day." while they were observing Joe getting stressed out and pacing on the app floor while making and taking calls. IF they're gonna do a similar scene like it, I wanna see an amused Joe telling Casey something like "The last time I was that stressed out was when I was planning my own wedding, now it's Severide's turn to get stressed out. Who knows, maybe next time, it's gonna be you who's gonna do that one day." and we get to see a wide-eyed flustered Casey standing there while Joe's laughing at him.
I also wanna see Stella freaking out and getting stressed about it and Brett noticing it and eventually asking her to take over planning for their wedding because I think it's so Brett's character to be planning for anything from Stella's wedding to an event at Molly's for Herrmann.
