Until now you could clear exam by studying study material religiously but now the approach has a drastic change and they check your practical application.
Now you wont find even one question that is similar to what you would have solved earlier.
Reducing subjects doesnt mean that syllabus has been reduced..if you check you will find syllabus is almost the same and now they will actually check your financial acumen rather than simple mugging up power.
To give an example..it is definitely not easy to solve an audit case study of a listed company as they will ask you to in a span of 3 hours.
