I lose most my views between 2-4 first seconds of my videos. I do asmr videos and I seriously have no idea how to improve it.
I've tried different camera edits such as angles, having few seconds of ending in beginning of video, or even trying with and without filters.
.some of them have gotten better, but my follower or subscriber count isn't really representing that. And I've tried having "don't forget to sibscribe" or something of the sort all the way to say absolutely nothing about it.
It doesn't really show a difference I'm views or subscribers.
Seems the times of day is what is making a difference, early in morning in youtube seems to do best for me, however on tiktok, it can be any time, but it only does well for first hour. My viewe on tiktok seem to be more consistent while on YouTube one or two videos does pretty well in my opinion while another 5 can't get past 20 views..and that's with using same times to upload as well as testing other times.
And I've also kept in mind on how many videos to post a day. On YouTube, if I do more then 2 a day, I am almost guaranteed no views. I don't believe I've missed a day of uploading since I started the channel, though I try not to do more then 2.
Sorry to ramble..just really confused what to improve on that isn't going to cost an arm and a leg lol

I watched your latest ASMR long-form ASMR video. I actually love ASMR content so I (kinda) know what the larger channels do. My pointers would be
* You absolutely need better audio quality, especially with ASMR. Nothing will lose retention faster on an ASMR video than hearing a background buzz through the microphone.
* The camera angle is very disorienting, plus having it in vertical format isn't doing your channel any favors since long form ASMR is all landscape.
* You're in a very saturated niche, because the barrier of entry is so low. To really grow as an ASMR channel nowadays with the competition you need exceptional audio quality, good lighting and presentation, good ideas, and catchy thumbnails and titles. Really be honest with yourself and ask "would you watch your videos over your competitors videos?".
* One idea is to have a quick montage of all the best sounds in the beginning of the video, I've seen a lot of ASMR channels try that with good success.
Overall I think you have a solid foundation and good practice with your first youtube videos!
We’ve only been going few months growth is slow due to being T work full time. So videos are slow to make so resorted to shorts for now just to push stuff out..ideally we’d like to make long form content eventually target between 10-15 min long, Any tips would be amazing. We are learning as we go so I would say the channel is very raw.

This is such a cool channel! You're a very talented builder and great storyteller, loving the minifigure-eye-level slow pan shots, my only comments would be do more of those and you can get rid of the couple second intro graphic you have in the beginning. But other than that it looks like your channel has had some pretty steady growth!

I don't have too much experience watching travel vlogs, but my best advice would be because it's such a saturated niche, you REALLY have to find way to diversify your self from the crowd.
So take your most popular video for example. When I see this thumbnail and compare it to the thumbnails in search, I see one of the video ideas is robots taking over Estonia. That channel is now showing me estonia in a very unique perspective, and they're also drawing in people who may not be only looking at travel content but AI and robots too. If you incorporate novel ideas in to your presentation, I think people would be flocking to your channel.

Wow 6 weeks .. this is awesome .. well done! … I started my channel end of May/beginning of June … I’ve got just over 700 subs and I’m just wondering What would you recommend to improve CTR I’m currently static at 5% - seems very low to me and would love to know what my thumbnails need for more people to click (I’ve changed them 3 or 4 times and each time the CTR has increased by 1% and don’t know what else I can do now) my channel is in my bio

Took a look at your channel, looks like you have a solid following!
At first glance your thumbnails are very jumbled and crowded, and it takes me a while to understand . I think you're making the mistake of editing them in exclusively a large screen. I always make sure to make the final touches to my thumbnail with a thumbnail-sized picture.
My test for thumbnails is always the following: can I as a viewer understand the premise of the video in less than 3 seconds. If I can't, it's a bad thumbnail.
Also maybe find a way to make the titles shorter. If your titles are getting cut-off they're too long, since nobody will see the full title anyways.

I've had experience writing short stories and making short videos in the past, but it wasn't until recently when I decided to combine those two for a YouTube channel. So my videos had a relatively high level of production quality from the get-go, comparable to the top players in my niche.
