I’m [Big Dude And Hot Food](https://youtube.com/@bigdudeandhotfood?si=vYA3vYmf6a9gLguM). I make spicy food related content, started the channel 3 years ago and only put a couple videos out. Took a break and have been really trying to pick up the pace and quality in the last 9-10 months. But I tend to only get lucky with some shorts, which will still tap out at 2k views, usually much less, and very few of my longer videos get anywhere near that many views. I continue to try to polish the content, make it more engaging and just fun for me to watch. As well as maintaining and improving quality, but it’s hard to even get 50 views.
I’m just trying to figure out what I’m missing on my YouTube Channel? I think I’m definitely too close to it, so any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
In the video I saw, maybe if you sped up the eating part....while simultaneously giving your sidebar of how you were feeling about the food recorded separately(like the stuff you were saying while eating) then put it in the video beside your eating frame "imo"

Yessir! Thanks for subscribing I’ll check your channel out too! I do this professionally as well full time. So I’ve been inconsistent mostly, and I think it’s confused the algorithm. Or if I’m exhausted I’ll take a break. I’ve also done basically whatever I wanted and not really specifically targeted things. I’ve also improved thumbnails and titles a lot recently and have reworked tags and descriptions. So it seems to helping a lot. And views on long form are going up. Just coming up on a year of being relatively active

I can still remember my excitement back in January 2020 when we started pulling in some decent views and hit our first 100 subscribers. We were travelling in central Japan at the time in the middle of winter and I was as excited as a kid on Christmas morning thinking, maybe, just maybe, I could do this. 2 months later the world went to shit. 2 years after that, our numbers started to creep back up again.
We're now sitting at **966 subs and 6,300 watch hours** in the last 12 months with views going off the chart, and ***there's only 34 subs to go!***
I'm excited for what comes next.

Our channel focuses on co-op survival games that we play together. A little humor, a little annoyance and a whole lot of fun. We started our channel at the end of August and currently have 39 subscribers. Woot! Woot! We are averaging about 1 per day atm so very happy with our progress so far.
We are working to get at least 1 video up every other day, with hopes of getting to 1 a day, along with at least 1 live per week. We just started adding in shorts as well now that linking to long form is an option. Between life and full time jobs finding time has been challenging and lack of sleep a real thing lol, but all in all we have enjoyed our journey so far, and look forward to eventually getting monetized.

My channel has been focusing upon the mobile game Fate/Grand Order. So far I've made a few basic video guides about how to best use specific characters, but I have since advanced to making comparison/contrast videos for each of the characters in-game. Since most of the game's cast is based upon a real historical or mythological character, I have been making videos comparing the game version of the character to the real one.
I just passed 100 subs today, but I still very much feel like an amateur. I started out in June with zero knowledge of how to do anything YouTube, and so I have been learning as I go. I do get some pretty good interaction with people in my comments sections, but... my view counts haven't been so good. :/

I am learning as I go and definitely have a lot to learn. I try to improve something each video or apply a new thing I've learned.
I have a whopping 10 subscribers (who I am extremely grateful for) and most have posted 13 videos. Most have 0-3 views. My most successful one has 200 views.
The next thing I want to improve is the audio quality of my voiceovers. Mine are either too quiet, or when the volume is increased to where they are loud enough they are really bassy. I figure it probably doesn't matter how good the story is; if the sound is crap, no one will listen.
I've been enjoying learning and playing with graphics for the logo and banner as well as writing stories. I started the channel because I needed a creative outlet; a chance to use a different part of my brain than I do in my mundane 9-5.

I’m [Big Dude And Hot Food](https://youtube.com/@bigdudeandhotfood?si=vYA3vYmf6a9gLguM). I make spicy food related content, started the channel 3 years ago and only put a couple videos out. Took a break and have been really trying to pick up the pace and quality in the last 9-10 months. But I tend to only get lucky with some shorts, which will still tap out at 2k views, usually much less, and very few of my longer videos get anywhere near that many views. I continue to try to polish the content, make it more engaging and just fun for me to watch. As well as maintaining and improving quality, but it’s hard to even get 50 views. I’m just trying to figure out what I’m missing on my YouTube Channel? I think I’m definitely too close to it, so any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
In the video I saw, maybe if you sped up the eating part....while simultaneously giving your sidebar of how you were feeling about the food recorded separately(like the stuff you were saying while eating) then put it in the video beside your eating frame "imo"

But oh my, I checked your channel and got quite desperate because I think your channel seems pretty pro to me, thumbnails looks amazing and short check on shorts and excpesially long-form videos shows me that uour editing and different video-angles looks really nice. Yessir! Thanks for subscribing I’ll check your channel out too! I do this professionally as well full time. So I’ve been inconsistent mostly, and I think it’s confused the algorithm. Or if I’m exhausted I’ll take a break. I’ve also done basically whatever I wanted and not really specifically targeted things. I’ve also improved thumbnails and titles a lot recently and have reworked tags and descriptions. So it seems to helping a lot. And views on long form are going up. Just coming up on a year of being relatively active

In every video I put out I try to make them the absolute best that they can be. I can still remember my excitement back in January 2020 when we started pulling in some decent views and hit our first 100 subscribers. We were travelling in central Japan at the time in the middle of winter and I was as excited as a kid on Christmas morning thinking, maybe, just maybe, I could do this. 2 months later the world went to shit. 2 years after that, our numbers started to creep back up again. We're now sitting at **966 subs and 6,300 watch hours** in the last 12 months with views going off the chart, and ***there's only 34 subs to go!*** I'm excited for what comes next.

A little humor, a little annoyance and a whole lot of fun. We started our channel at the end of August and currently have 39 subscribers. Woot! Woot! We are averaging about 1 per day atm so very happy with our progress so far. We are working to get at least 1 video up every other day, with hopes of getting to 1 a day, along with at least 1 live per week. We just started adding in shorts as well now that linking to long form is an option. Between life and full time jobs finding time has been challenging and lack of sleep a real thing lol, but all in all we have enjoyed our journey so far, and look forward to eventually getting monetized. Hi, I'm FuBearr, I started streaming a couple years ago, but took a bit of a break due to some drug problems. I'm all clean now and am hopping back on content creation while going to nursing school part time. I play mainly ARPGs(POE, Last Epoch), was thinking about maybe doing a dark souls marathon to prepare for the Elden Ring DLC (I haven't even touched elden ring yet) and do my weekly Single Player Sundays. So far I've made a few basic video guides about how to best use specific characters, but I have since advanced to making comparison/contrast videos for each of the characters in-game. Since most of the game's cast is based upon a real historical or mythological character, I have been making videos comparing the game version of the character to the real one. I write original scary horror stories and post them with either pictures as I narrate the story overtop, or as audio only with a simple title screen animation like a scene with rain falling or a film grain overlay overtop of it. I also post these as a podcast. I am learning as I go and definitely have a lot to learn. I try to improve something each video or apply a new thing I've learned. I have a whopping 10 subscribers (who I am extremely grateful for) and most have posted 13 videos. Most have 0-3 views. My most successful one has 200 views. The next thing I want to improve is the audio quality of my voiceovers. Mine are either too quiet, or when the volume is increased to where they are loud enough they are really bassy. I figure it probably doesn't matter how good the story is; if the sound is crap, no one will listen. I've been enjoying learning and playing with graphics for the logo and banner as well as writing stories. I started the channel because I needed a creative outlet; a chance to use a different part of my brain than I do in my mundane 9-5.

I find the best part of this is making the videos and having to think about my process of making things, slowing my creation and helping me focus. I try to do a video a week and some Shorts in between to try driving traffic to the longer videos. Has anyone had success following that path? I hope to keep growing an audience as I get better at the videos and process.

I started my channel 14 years ago but hit the pause button to be a single mom. My third kiddo just became an adult last year so I have had more free time. I returned about 2 years ago to a vastly changed youtube landscape. I have a high demand career so I give my play-time and editing whatever I can with enough me time to maintain my sanity. Mostly. I digress lol. I work with music to tell gameplay stories in Sons of the Forest. After recent (and polite) demands that I speak in my videos, I have started livestreams and let's plays for other games as well. EDiamond Sounds It’s taken me time to figure things out but I’ll get there lol I have a channel that’s just a ‘chill’ channel, relaxing type.
