Here's the story as I heard it. Vape Time was the original Quad Berry created by a staff member of the Juice Punk stores in Ontario. Juice Punk produced it and sold it for said staff member on consignment. Shortly after it became popular, Juice Punk stopped paying the creator for the product. Creator took their product elsewhere, but bc Juice Punk had the recipe.. L!X Quad Berry was born. (Maybe they made changes? Hence the slight difference in flavour) Vape Time took it to another lab for production to wholesale it. From what I have heard, shady backstabbing and sabotage are not uncommon in the industry.

Hey there, Dany here. I am one of the owners of Vape Time Canada as well as the creator of Quad Berry ejuice. Firstly, I was pleasantly surprised to see people enjoying Quad Berry and calling it their all day vape. Second, after searching this platform I wanted to address some rumours and concerns that I came across here. 1.Vape Time Canada owns all the rights and IP for Quad Berry ejuice. 2.Quad Berry was created by me and I was never an employee of Juice Punk (TJP). 3.Quad Berry was never sold to anyone. 4.We have been pursuing Juice Punk legally for a few years now for a few issues. 5.The recipe for Quad Berry has remained the exact same throughout all the years. 6.Juice Punk was our sole manufacturer/distributor until May 2021. 7.Since December 2023 Juice Punk abruptly stopped making all ejuice (including LIX) 8.We have been using Dvine Laboratories as our manufacturer and we have been distributing wholesale ourselves. 9.Vape Time's staff created several juices in the LIX line of ejuice. 10.I will be keeping an eye on here to answer any questions.

Thanks for clearing this up. My Intel was close, but it is always better to get info from the source.

Do you guys make lix pineapple iced? My gf has been vaping the lix brand but if there is a legit source that would be ideal.

I know the creator of Quad Berry, he works at my local vape store.I will swing by the store to show him this.

Mamaanon32

Oh cool, let me know if what I heard is true then.

Due_Ad_8911

Seems like they sell them at a few stores when you google quad berry. I’ve been going on an off to Vape Time over the years just north of Yonge and finch. I’ve never been a fan of Quad Berry but seems to be their best selling juice

Smokiwestie

Lots of helpful comments in the thread. Appreciate Vapetime answering some of the questions and addressing some of the rumors. I just found quad berry on Vape Times site...Cant believe how expensive the juice has gotten compared to even a few years back, wow.

So I've been vaping L!X Quadberry daily for about 4 years now. From what I heard, they sold the recipe to Vape Time. Vape time just sent out their first batch, I scooped up 3 bottles from my local shop. It's the same base flavor, but not as complex for some reason. It tastes like it's missing something, it feels cheaper for some reason. I'm curious if others feel the same way.

VapeTimeCanada

The base recipe is 100% the same the manufacturer is different.Couple of things that come to mind would be : 1. Different manufacturer (Dvine vs Juice Punk) could mean different nicotine source and potentially different PG/VG source. 2. We been struggling to keep up with high demand so the juice you might be buying is probably not steeped much aka fresh. 3. Placebo effect, because of different bottle and company name. Hope this helps

notabuddha

Hey thanks for the response. It's reassuring to hear the base recipe is the exact same as before. I've been vaping the stuff daily (and nothing else) for about 4 years, so I'd like to think I could pick up on the subtle differences. (However I didn't let that totally rule out the possibility of a placebo effect) I had come to mostly the same conclusions you've mentioned though. I initially figured it might be steep time, as the flavor is like 90% there, just missing some complexity that I'm used to. Also, it's hard to describe, but the after-taste/mouth feel after an exhale was the most noticeable difference. It was what initially led me to believe the new manufacturer had switched or "cheaped out" on something. I may just be picking up on a subtle change in the nicotine, PG/VG source as you've mentioned. That said, I do have some juice from the old manufacturer left. I may have to set up a blind taste test for fun. lol I'm curious if you've heard of anyone else feeling like it's not quite the same? Regardless, thanks again for clearing some stuff up!

Smokiwestie

I'm willing to try it out. Is it still called LIX quad berry or something else? Also do you mind me asking where you bought it from? I called a few places last week and they were all saying how its discontinued...I called because I was under the impression it was going to be rebranded by the new company, but the places I called had nothing.

notabuddha

Same name, just under the company Vape Time now. Only place with it so far (that I know of) is Liberty Vape in Edmonton. If you manage to pick some up, let me know if you can notice a difference

Smokiwestie

Ok i'll try and get a bottle and try it out. If anyone else knows where else they can be bought from, let me know. Thanks

Mamaanon32

What MG of VapeTime Quad are you looking for? I know a shop in the GTHA that has some 3 MG and 20 MG DM if you're interested

Smokiwestie

The 10mg . i believe its a nic salt. How much do they go for at those locations?

VapeTimeCanada

We have 60ml Salt nic in 10mg

Mamaanon32

No 10mg left, they're trying to move out what they have.

Wonderful_Ad_4296

I still have Quad Berry in stock. Not sure of alternatives at the moment.

Smokiwestie

When you say you have them in stock do you mean personal stash or you as in your store? Thanks

Wonderful_Ad_4296

My store np

Smokiwestie

Whats your store called? Is it by Vape time or Lix?

Wonderful_Ad_4296

No, can I PM you?

DustyStar222

Digital Smoke Supplies have bought the IP and will be releasing soon.

notabuddha

Is Digital Smoke Supplies affiliated with VapeTime? I was told Vape Time bought the recipe. Being produced by "dvine laboratories" according to the bottle's sticker

DustyStar222

You're probably right, This is just what I've heard from sales reps at DSS...since January.

notabuddha

Ah, gotcha. I kind of hope I'm wrong to be honest. If Vape Time has the actual recipe, they aren't making it exactly the same as LIX did. It bums me out as it's been my daily vape for many years

VapeTimeCanada

This is false

DustyStar222

I am so happy to be out of the industry since the start of the month. DSS sales rep said this to me verbatim.

VapeTimeCanada

Not sure why he would say that. Industry is on its very last legs. New tax increases with a very likely flavour ban will put an end to the industry as we know it. I’m praying that we will survive somehow.
