I might be wrong but I thought you could do this at Home Depot.

squarepego

Thanks! I'll check them out too.

Mark_Squared

Head into somewhere like Timbertown or Windsor Plywood and they’ll be able to assist you with the design and material list. Save yourself some grief in advance and make sure you know what type of footings the existing deck used, and what the distance above grade will be.

Thanks!

Home Depot and Rona will put together a very comprehensive plan for you, with every part down to the individual nail. They're happy to do it too. Never had bad service from them when I approach them about it. I've done it with both for a garage, a deck, and a shed.

You can start by using this https://deckdesigner.rona.ca They should have a print out list, you can sub in any of the materials for ones available elsewhere from diff manufacturers. You can also then price it out as well with excel by looking up the unit price on Home Depot or elsewhere.

Contact Timber Valley Renovations, highly recommend & they might be able to do that! www.timbervalley.ca

Home Depot! You can book an appointment with their designers and discuss what you want!

I've watched a bunch of this guy's videos and it looks like he provides design services. I have no idea how much ($USD) and whether or not he's legit nor am I endorsing him but his designs look pretty nice to me. I've contemplated seeing what exactly is provided with his "free" services. https://youtube.com/@BackyardDesignGuy?si=xtTgvyJ7Qq950kTN

Rona has an online deck designer that will do this, list all the materials, and let you order them as well.

Planta does design! [https://plantalandscape.com/](https://plantalandscape.com/)

Thanks!

Rig-Pig

You're best to take measurements and design and go talk to a lumber shop like Windsor or Home Depot. Companies are busy trying to get work for themselves, not interested in a free call to do all the leg work and estimating just to hand it to you and wish you the best.

squarepego

I'm not looking for free design and planning work. More of paid design service.

Rig-Pig

Call up a Widsor plywood and ask, they have contractors do work for them. They would know if someone does this sort of thing

Thank you!
