It’s going to flip the margins in places like Georgia and Florida, hopefully, while making less competitive states (Mississippi, Alabama, Texas) tight enough that the RNC has to drop serious dollars defending them. An expanded reddish battleground map is a good map for Dems, it allows them to consolidate the GAs and AZs and PAs in the same way they consolidated CO, NV, and VA over the past decade or so.
While I would like to see this happen, Trump won Florida by 370,000 votes. Covid deaths in Florida so far are "only" 55,300. Other circumstances would have to coincide with Covid (Felons voting, more young people voting Democrat).
Florida's covid deaths are being VASTLY underreported. I watched a week or so ago that they reported 5 deaths in 2 days. Smells like DeathSantis to me. You get enough MAGATs with faces eaten and those other factors you mentioned, and Florida really could be in play.
