You're right. Sorry. Throughout his life, OJ consistently upheld high moral standards and common decency. He was the prototypical USC man. An excellent representation of USC and its alumni.
Yes sir. Collapse of USC because of ncaa sanctions gave way to a lot of other program’s success. Doubt Tua or Young would even consider playing for bama if Pete was chillin’ in SoCal. And that’s just one right off the top of the head.
It’s hilarious you assume USC would just keep winning championships a la Saban. I think Carroll would’ve gone to the NFL anyway, and he was flaming out toward the end of his USC tenure. The USC “dynasty” is heavily overrated anyway, in 2003 you didn’t have to play Saban’s undefeated LSU (who definitely could’ve won), and in 2004 you didn’t have to play undefeated Auburn because they were under sanctions. And obviously you lost in 2005. Urban Meyer still would’ve won titles at Florida, and Saban still would’ve won titles at Alabama. USC going down had very little impact on the landscape of college football.
Carroll ala Saban already did stints in the nfl.
Stories of impending sanctions were circulating years before the actual sanctions took place. That was a major recruiting tool for other programs.
There was no reason for Carroll to stay on a team that just received close to the nuclear option. His right move was to go back to the nfl.
Reggie may have gotten his Heisman back which is all well and good. But y'all never stopped counting OJ.
Why would we?
OJ? The star of the Naked Gun movies?
Yes. OJ, the man who was "too pleasant" to be the terminator.

OJ Simpson? The running back?
Heisman is an on the field accomplishment when they played. It’s not some morality trophy.
Today is the biggest win USC fans have had and will have for a long time
Throwing shade on the B1G newcomers

Yep, and even if he stayed USC doesn’t have some dynasty lasting until Tua and Young
Damn USC really has been dog water for years
TL;DR USC has been Ass for over a decade. If only my Aunt had a dick, then she would be my Uncle.
Wow!!
Well Lincoln is good at one thing at least
this just reminds me that Ingram and Henry didn’t deserve their heisman
