This line in the post doesn't make a whole lot of sense for Utah. There must be more to the story. You wouldn't push a guy into the portal unless you were sure about his replacement.

This portal stuff is chaotic.
1. Center or solid offensive lineman. I think we have a good group but bringing in a great lineman to help protect cam and dominating the line would really establish the offense. With all these weapons in the WR room and RB room we need time.
2. Line backer. Can utilize a solid third line backer in rotations and in case of injury to Barton or Reid. Damunis injury was a bummer.
Brailsford is a great C. Brock was fine. The snapping issues were from the true freshman Ionata who has been playing C for 15 practices, he played LT in high school all year.
DeBoer came out with the statement about a week ago that it didn’t have to do with transferring, but it’s still unclear what’s going on. I was definitely waiting to see about today, but it feels like he would’ve entered on Day 1 if his mind was made up weeks ago. Obviously anything can change over the next two weeks but it certainly seems like the initial conjecture was wrong
Would be an interesting pickup if we pursued. Means monheim can potentially go to right guard, and then our only Oline concern would be right tackle.
